Are you drunker than usual?
Let’s try this in a simpler way. Tell me which of the following sentences you disagree with: When Elway was the Denver QB, the NFL gifted Denver with five SB appearances and two wins. When Manning was the Denver QB, the NFL gifted Denver with two SB appearances and one win.

Elway was gifted 2 SB's in 1997 & 1998. Manning was gifted 2 appearances and 1 trophy. While we are at it, let us correctly translate what Pat Bowlen was really saying when he held up the trophy after the Donks were gifted their first SB trophy and said "This one's for John". It goes like this: "This FRAUDULENT one was gifted to John, because John wasn't good enough to earn a legit SB trophy in legit fashion on a level playing field, as evidenced by Super Bowls 21, 22, and 24 where John played like a girl & got his buck-toothed head handed to him when John did have the chance to earn a SB in legit fashion. And let us not forget that John, this 1997 season rode the coat-tails of a ridiculously easy schedule, the most horribly biased officiating going in our Donkeys favor unparalelled in football history, and Terrell Davis racking up massive rushing numbers behind an O-Line that was repeatedly allowed to get away with massive holding, illegal chop-blocks, leg-whips and even wearing Vaseline-like substance. And all that in addition to our cheating & violating the salary cap. That is the real reason that I'm now saying..'this one's for John'." |

If they dont...there goes your 1st/2nd round pick...essentially a lateral transition...then you have to replace the ones that do leave. Last edited by BlackOp; 11-17-2024 at 11:09 PM.. |

But I think we can agree that, when Denver has had a QB at least as good as Elway, the NFL has gifted Denver with at least an appearance in the SB at a rate of every three to four years. Right?

And where are you getting this "an appearance in the SB at a rate of every three to four years" from. No such thing ever happened. They appeared (legitimately) in 3 of 4 years from 1986 -- 1989. They got gifted their appearances in 1997, 1998, 2013, and 2015. That ISN'T every 3 to 4 years as you falsely project. And let's just see in depth how good your boy Elway really was: It CAN be unfair to compare QBs from different eras. So this post will be an attempt to compare Elway to his own peers. During John Elway's career (1983 to 1998), there were 19 QBs who started 100+ games. Here is where Elway ranks in major statistical categories: Completion%: 16th TD%: 13th INT%: 10th Passer Rating: 14th Yards per Attempt: 10th Adjusted Net Yards per Attempt: 11th So if you believe (like many do), that John Elway is one of the top 10 QBs of all time, why wasn't he even statistically a top 10 QB in his own era? And why is it never mentioned by Donktards that of all the QB's that started multiple SB's, that Elway STUNK UP THE FIELD worse than any of them? Could it be that Donktards like you have their heads so far up Elway's arse that every time Elway farts, Donktards like you probably literally get their shoes blown off their feet? |

Elway played 16 years with five appearances. Manning four for Denver with two appearances. Can you make any guesses where I got my approximate rate? Of course I didn’t suggest the appearances were spaced evenly. It seems we agree that Nix is obviously better than Elway, who sucked real bad. I’m just glad that I cheer for a team that gets gifted all these SB appearances and wins. Not my fault the NFL loves Denver so very much. Obviously the NFL won’t be able to help but gift us many more SB appearances with someone like Nix.

He lost by 32 and 45 points in the 87/89 SBs....he was down 26 points with 2 minutes left in 86. Got a garbage time TD... He is legit responsible for 3 of the worst SB blowouts in history... Last edited by BlackOp; 11-18-2024 at 07:26 AM.. |

The truth about Elway is he was only good to a point but was clearly 2nd-tier. Donktards always make lame excuses for him and never hold Elway accountable for anything (kool-aid drinking). And he NEVER carried any Donkeys team like Donktards falsely claim -- they carried him. Quote:
The Chiefs loss to the Bills doesn't bother me one bit, as I had suspected as much, as Buffalo usually does win these regular season match-ups as of late (not yet in recent playoffs, however). Can you truthfully say the same about the Donks loss in KC on Nov. 10? We both know that you can't. Last edited by brdempsey69; 11-18-2024 at 12:11 AM.. |

With all the shit I get for supposedly not showing up after a loss, I have to ask where you guys went after this game?
Where are all my favorite people to tell me how bad Mo Pix is?

Well, from what I read here… Denver took advantage (again) of an injury depleted defense and the thin air.

So I'm kind of wondering, was the Rodgers signing better than the Wilson signing?
