Remember when I said that you drafted a lesser Alex Smith...and would soon start rationalizing that he just needs a better WR...or RB...more cap space or whatever.

You're entering that phase...and once you get those and your team is still mediocre...then the fans will start to turn on Nix. That next season's narrative.

Carr just needed weapons...they got Jacobs and Adams. All three are on a different team now.

Welcome to the cycle of average QB purgatory...rinse, repeat. I guess it's better than being terrible but you'll always be just "one player" away.

I can't help but wonder if Nix will still be in Denver when his rookie contract is done.

If he does, then to the best of my knowledge, he'll be the first, as for QB's drafted by the Donks.

Well, pick any QB and put him in that offense and he needs a legit TE and similar upgrades around the offense. You talk as if Nix should be able to be top tier without upgrades.

Nix has the advantage of never getting pressure out on him due to the oline. I don’t know the cap situation or contract situation of the line but it seems that is his biggest benefactor and if that fails then it would be interesting to see what he does.

Bolles' contract is up along with a bunch of players...he'll be fairly expensive. Donks finishing with 7-8 wins will make it tough to land a blue chip LT.

Then they cant select the top WR they think Nix needs...

Nix will never be top tier...could be top 15 if he maximizes his potential.

It seems like from 2016 to the present that Donkeytown has become a graveyard for players with many of them bolting out of Denver at the first opportunity.

So it won't be any surprise if Bolles is next in line to bolt out of there along with others.

It serves them right for their cheating & scandalous activities conducted by Bowlen, Elway, Shanarat, and all the other Donkturds involved.

I saw a 2015 post of yours predicting the fall of the Donks once Manning hung up the cleats and I told others the same thing at that time & here we are nine years later with the Donks not even sniffing the playoffs since 2015.

Yep...I also said they should trade Miller while his value was at maximum and rebuild in earnest.

What did they end up getting for him...though a stretch of pointless seasons? Could have potentially received 2 firsts...

People forget Horseface TRIED to resign Osweiler...and Houston saved him from impotent self. Their free-fall could have been even worse..

I was also the first person that dared to suggest that Wilson could flop...amidst the barrage off media praise. Talking heads were saying they were going to win the AFCW and SB bound. Said it would set them back at least 5 years...looks like that trajectory will be close...and only if Nix becomes something he currently isnt.

You nailed that one, as now the Donks are paying Wilson 30+ million to play for the Steelers. Couldn't have been more poetic, as I said it serves them right for the cheating & scandalous activities conducted by the Donks in the past.

Even with that said, I'm still laughing about last Sunday & that PAYBACK play that occurred at the end.

This isn't even mean-spirited shit-talking - this is just the pure, unadulterated truth. It is glorious.
