Two catches for 12 yards? Are you talking about the punt returns?

Clutch catch over the middle to convert 3rd and long. Good draw run from the shotgun to get about 10 yards. The returns were excellent.

He's got ability and they need to get him more involved.

I'm not "Aw Shucks"ing anything. They have issues with drops and turnovers. They also had issues with separation, running the football and short yardage on 3rd and 4th downs. Are you saying they didn't show great improvement in running, separation and short yardage on Monday? If we had went 1 for 6 on short yardage instead of 6 for 6, or receivers weren't getting separation and we were getting shut down running the football, we would have gotten destroyed on Monday.

It's the most confusing part of this whole thing.

I don’t think we’ve ever had issues with running the ball. But we were guided by a run heavy script against a run D that seemed content letting us run. Yes better on short yardage.

No we aren’t better at separation. Teams are selling the hell out against our playmakers. We arent getting separation. We are getting our 3 worst guys roaming free out there because they are liabilities when we throw it to them. Defenses continually make adjustments to find ways to funnel the offense to our worst guys and it’s working. So yeah as long as we continue to struggle after defenses adjust to taking out our playmakers, we have the same issues. We were in this game because of a great initial offense script and a defense that gifted our offense possessions and field position.

that's not true, at all.

Guys were open all game long, they just stopped catching the ball. Just STOPPED CATCHING THE BALL.

it was ridiculous.

MVS was open for the TD. Hell, after that, Watson was open for the first on 4th and twenty-****ing-five. Just dropped it.

Kelce-dropped it.

Whole ****ing team just suddenly couldn't catch the ****ing ball.

Guys are getting open because defenses are putting such little respect on them that they’re basically letting Justin Watson roam free.

Kelce is having to work 10 times as hard to get open. Rashee is starting to get challenged and he’s doing ok but he’s got a ways to go to be good in his new role. Skyy is basically getting locked down with minimal attention. This illusion of our WRs getting open everywhere is because Mvs and Watson are often open but we see time and time and time and time again why they are risky to throw to even if they’re open by a mile.

It isn’t just the drops. Can we please stop saying this? They aren’t great at separation and when they do, they have no football iq whatsoever so they make maddeningly dumb decisions time and time again on their routes. And now defenses are tripling down on our playmakers and funneling everything to our worst guys. Catching our drops helps us be just good enough to pull off these wins and that is good enough to keep carrying us, but it doesn’t change that there’s a significant issue that goes way way beyond drops. They’re just bad WRs and we have to find a way to carry them

Richie James can get around 60 receptions with Daniel Jones throwing him the ball, but KC can’t scheme the kid to get similar production with Mahomes?
