Saw this on Twitter:

4 of the 5 Broncos wins:

Panthers 1-7, 0-5 since week 3
Saints 2-6, 0-5 since week 3
Raiders 2-6, 1-4 since week 3
Jets 2-6, 0-5 since week 3

Total: 7-25, 1-19 since week 3

They’ve feasted on terrible teams

I checked in at their Broncos Country forum...to see how they view the Ravens match-up. There isn't even a thread discussing the upcoming game.

So their 4-1 "hot streak" consists of beating opponents that are 1-19 since it began.....those teams have collectively won ONE game in the past 5 weeks.

Amazing...

It is what it is… I typically just respond to stuff at this point. I always had the road game at BAL checked as a loss and 5-3 isn’t changing that. Unless of course, the Browns mentally broke the Ravens and they fall apart. This ain’t happening though.

The plus side is the Ravens’ defense has a few issues. The downside … Denver does not have consistent threats in the passing game. Too many key drops and fumbles by the WRs.

I figure the Ravens win 30 - 17.

It would be hilarious to see the Donks beat the Ratbirds this weekend. But, I just don't see it happening. I'll be happy with a close game in which Lamar gets exposed as nothing close to a league MVP caliber quarterback

Agree 100% with this as I said earlier in this thread.

Hangin another L on the Ravens pretty much takes them off our radar going forward. We can take care of Denver ourselves the following week.

Can't do it.

2 teams will never be rooted for regardless of opponent or situation. Denver & Dallas.

It's a win/win either way...Donks drop down in the draft order or KC goes up 5 games in HFA.

Donks arent a serious post-season football team...so I'm good with an upset too.

As much as I enjoy reveling in their suffering...it's about KC getting back to the SB.

What was that you were saying about being a moron -- you MORON ?! And who is "we" -- do you got a turd in your back pocket?
Sure there were new players, but your accusations, and my defense, were about adding BETTER players than the current guys BECAUSE we made extra cap room by cheating.

FB Howard Griffith was a downgrade from Aaron Craver:

95-96 AARON CRAVER - 25g, 525yd, 666rec, 9td
97-98 HOWARD GRIFFITH- 26g, 47yd, 152rec, 7td

OT Gary Zimmerman retired after first SB - 1st ballot HOF
So obviously there's cap room opened up there

Don't remember Willie Flipper Anderson ever being a Bronco

Neil Smith helped lots, but I mentioned him and I mentioned a few others on your list.
_________

Guys, I told you. The League's position is they check EVERY roster EVERY week. If there's a problem with the cap they inform the team and the team has to make a change in their roster before they take the field.

Even after all of that cheating we still have more super bowls than Denver.

That's pretty interesting

Remember the movie "A Beautiful Mind?" That scene where the wife finds Russell Crowe's shack way out back with thousands of crazy clippings and writings tacked up all over the walls?

She's just so shocked, she never guessed for a minute such a thing existed.

Well that's EXACTLY how I felt when I first saw this thread... It's exactly like that crazy shack way out back. Pushing TWENTY MILLION views. You just keep hanging on and hanging on and hanging on to this obsession! The decisions were already made, years ago. But you just refuse to accept them

Well, the problem as I see it, the interesting part, isn't the total Super Bowls. Nobody can take the past six years away from the Chiefs. Their current dynasty is on par with 90s Cowboys - maybe even the 70s Steelers.

But BEFORE Mahomes, over the Broncos and Chiefs first five decades - first 48 years in the Big Leagues, in the NFL, the contrast between the two teams is enormous:

...... . . .Denver...... . KC
Years . . . . . . .. . . . 48.. . . .....48

Playoff years . . .. . 22. . . . .. 16

Playoff record. ....23-19. ... 4-16 *

Ch'ship games. ... .10. . . ... . 1

Ch'ship record. .. . .8-2. . . .. 0-1

Super Bowls. . . ... . .8. . . .. . 0

Supr Bowl rec'd... . 3-5. . . .. 0-0

_________________
* - 2 of the 4 were in 1993 with Joe Montana

That was a long, looong desolation road for KC. Calling those 48 years a "drought" would be an insult to deserts everywhere.

Meanwhile the Broncos became an elite NFL Franchise. In those 48 years, the Broncos were featured in national TV telecasts more than any other team (largely because they were one of the few teams with home games in the late doubleheader window).

Second most SB appearances of any team - in fact, the Broncos, Patriots and Steelers together represented the AFC in more than half those Super Bowls - and the Broncos' Super Bowls were not all clumped together - they came in the Mid-late 70s, the Mid-late 80s, the Mid-late 90s, and the early-mid teens. All those eras but the 70s were MULTIPLE SB appearances.

Broncos were featured on MNF a record 44 straight years, had a Pro Bowl player a record 47 straight years, and hold the longest (and current) home sellout streak - there has never been an available seat for a Broncos NFL game after the Wednesday of a game week ever.

All these things add up. That, plus the desolation the Chiefs were going through for such a long looong time, THAT'S what's behind this thread. THAT'S what makes you guys so resentful.

.
