Let's talk about the Miami Dolphins
Here is my $500,000 question on this game.

Will Spags and Co play it straight and keep their powder dry for the playoffs?

Last season the Chiefs defense (and maybe Andy, don't recall) kept things very vanilla when they went to Cincy.

They lost that battle, but won the war, because the defensive wrinkles Spags wanted to use against the Bengals were unveiled in the AFC Championship and held their offense at bay just enough for gimpy Mahomes to drag us over the finish line late.

Will Spags come into this game guns blazing and try to take out the Dolphins early this season? OR will he keep his cards hidden for the real season?

i wish i could find that gameday thread where mecca swore we were about to go down 31-13 to the Raiders or Chargers

I think the score was like 17-13 and it wasn't looking good for the chiefs and he just gave the other team two more TDs just cus

Their speed will slow down when it gets cold. I don't think they can last the gauntlet, but could potentially get to the AFC Championship Game as the Bengals and the Titans have done recently in the last five years.

I’m not going to say they’re frauds, but the proof is in the pudding until they can beat a legitimate team.

At present, I’d say their ceiling is a Wild Card Round win.

Obviously things can change but that’s what I see from them now. Their defense isn’t good and their offense no shows against stiff competition. That is not a winning recipe for playoff football.

This. The Dolphins blew out Denver by 50 yet are 0-3 against teams with winning records this year. You think they would trade that win to have one against a winning team?

Anyone crying about not blowing teams out hasn’t paid attention to Andy Reid’s tenure with the Chiefs.

We just don’t do it that often.

Andy is perfectly content winning a close game where he puts as little on tape as possible. Amazing that we still have to have this discussion.

Didn't notice as i was in the stadium but I'm surprised that fumble stood, maybe it's PTSD from Bolton's non td in the Superbowl but that one seemed more legit than the Hill one.

Dolphins are a better team than the consensus opinion here on chiefs planet is saying today.

Chiefs defense is not being given the right credit for shutting down Dolphins.

Dolphins likely win the AFC East and have a week 17 game at Ravens. If Ravens are winning the AFC North, that game could decide seeding depending on how Jaguars do versus Niners, Bengals, Ravens and Browns.

Anybody that thinks Chiefs win over Dolphins was about the Dolphins not being a contender does not know how good the Chiefs are.

If the AFC North is as good as the yaketty-yaks on TV are saying today. Dolphins have a real shot to be #2 seed and be the team that comes here if Chiefs are #1 seed and host AFC Championship.

Chiefs had some perfect play calls on their two TD scoring drives. Dolphins defense might take a big step forward with Jalen Ramsey and Xavien Howard returning.
