Idk how anyone could watch Drake Maye in his first start today and think “wow Bo Nix is doing well!”

You saw the high ceiling flashes from Maye. You see it all from him. And yeah Bo’s offensive skill players aren’t great but neither are Maye’s.

Huh? Bo DOES lose games and has cost his team all 3 losses

They got to play pretend for a few weeks...their fans were legit excited over a team with an inept QB...some were saying they hadnt been this excited since Manning.

The only time Nix does anything is when the other teams go to prevent...like "we're up 23-0...you can complete all the short passes you want"

Suckers...still dont have a NFL QB... they'll try again in a few years.

Meanwhile Caleb, Daniels, and Maye all showed something. What a disaster of a draft for Denver.

Why wait? Didn't the Cardinals go with a QB at #1 overall in 2 consecutive years?

I wouldnt...Nix is backup level. They took a gamble and it didn't pan out...their fans cant blame them for trying. If you hit...you are set-up for a decade.

That's a lot of administrative "egg on the face" to admit you blew the 12th over-all pick. (See Skyy Moore).

The other option is to roll with Zack Wilson and re-stock a pretty barren roster. They need difference makers at almost every level..

Doinks needed to nail this pick and didnt...it puts them a few years away from being relevant....and that's if they hit on their next QB.

For the foreseeable future...Donks are a non-factor in the AFC.

The Wilson trade/draft compensation will end up being a 6 year mistake...at the least.

Saw this tweet...

"Heading into the fourth quarter, the Broncos have five first downs and 88 total yards"...against the Chargers at home.

I dont see anything that says "Nix has "it"...he's just making rookie mistakes"...he's the same age as Trevor Lawrence.

Said it on draft day that Bowers was the pick at #12 and draft Rattler in like round 4 or 5. Still cant believe those clowns drafted Nix at # 12. But so glad they did.

As a Chiefs fan....this is all very entertaining.

Having Nix look good during preseason playing against car salesmen...getting their fans hopes up. A few early season wins against terrible offenses and before DC's have a bead on Nix's limitations....then the implosion.

I took a quick look over at their forum...and they are rationalizing Nix....to the tune of "Elway and Manning weren't good their rookie year either"...

Fools...those QBs had elite traits...Nix has nothing on his resume that implies he'll suddenly become a top QB. There is like a 1 in 10,000 chance that a light goes on for 25 year old rookie...and he demonstrates something he never did during FIVE years in college.

I go back to what I said before the season and his ADOT score....it was the second lowest in all of college football. This is playing out exactly as you would expect. Like 60% of his passes were either behind the LOS or within 5 yards...and there was 5 years of data confirming this.

I'm assuming Payton saw his accuracy % and thought he could mold him into another Brees...hubris is a deadly sin.

Yep. Albino Mahomes was the right move, and a lot of Denver fans are even admitting it now.

I mean, at some point, law of averages says you're going to slip up and do something right. Nope. Not Denver.

I'd feel sorry for their fanbase at this point....if they weren't such arrogant little turds.
