His routes are crisp hands are great I think he will be a productive player. Not sure about year 1 historically rookies haven't produced much. Kelce will be the #1 JuJu probably gets the most volume, MVS being the deep thread. Not bad not the best but with a HOF Coach, QB and top 5 oline yeah that will work.

Yep. If Skyy gets 50 catches for about 650-700 and 4 or 5 TDs, that will be some stud production.

Because I'm dubious that he will be the Chief's number one WR his rookie year, I should call the draft pick a total LOSS.

Yup, that totally follows.

I'll tell you what I'll call:

Skyy Moore will be the WR everyone wishes they had drafted in their fantasy football leagues next year.

That's like saying, wow, that 6' guard is a great rebounder, when the tallest player on his team is 6'5".

Of course he is a great rebounder, because someone has to get the rebounds.

It doesn't matter how many snaps S2Y plays, it matters how many targets he gets. There is no formula for determining the number of targets per offensive snap.

I like S2Y, now that the draft is over, and I think he is going to perform well this year. With all new receivers, except for Hardman, what S2Y needs is to develop chemistry with PM2.

They all need to develop that chemistry, and so far, reports from Texas, and from OTAs and minicamp, the receiver who is ahead of the curve is MVS.

I honestly don't care who catches what, or scores the TDs, all I care about is the offense scoring more than the opposing teams offense, and not turning the ball over.

Andy Reid's offenses always score points. Period. It will work itself out.

I think a lot of people view the WRs as JAGs plus an unknown rookie.

It'll go Kelce 1, Hardman 2, and Moore 3 in terms of yards. Hardman will be the most productive WR on this team this year. Just wait and see. Kelce will hit 1300 yards, Hardman is gonna have 1100 and Moore will get around 800 yards. Its Hardman's contract year and if he explodes this year, then he's gonna get absolutely paid.

MVS will be lucky to break 400 yds this year.

Really? OK. So, the chemistry between MVS and Mahomes is bullshit, is that what you are saying?

With a new receiving corp, Mahomes will have to have confidence in who he targets, and if he really does have chemistry, and is on the same page with MVS, then MVS will get a lot of targets.

I am not saying MVS is going to have 1,000 yards this season, but 400 seems really low.

I don't care what kind of chemistry the 2 have shown in non padded practices. MVS just isn't good.

Any particular reasoning behind saying that he “just isn’t good?”

He had a specific role in GB and did it well. IIRC he didn’t have a single drop last year. His speed is basically Hill-level. And he’s still an ascending young player.

What is he so bad at?

I don’t have actual data or a set of plays in mind, but from watching GB games last year, he just always seemed to miscommunicate with Rodgers whenever he was targeted. That could be because of a bad or hurried throw, but it just happened so often. It just seemed like anything where MVS wasn’t wide open and had a perfectly thrown ball was always going to be incomplete.

We’ll see if that changes now that he’s apparently going to be given more responsibility than he got in GB.

It was just hard to watch any GB game last year and think, “Man Davante Adams is incredible but the rest of those turds kinda suck”

Anyone else see the name Skyy Moore and wonder for a moment why a thread about a porn star is on the main lounge?

Not sure a performer with the same name exists, but it sounds like it should.
