50 Beers to Try Before You Die
Thought the beer snobs here might like this article (and probably critique the hell out of it).
http://www.wisdeo.com/articles/view_post/2984 (CBS) You've heard of "100 Bottles of Beer on the Wall"? How about 50 to try before you die?!
Spoiler!

Ended up with the 21st Anniversary Fresh Hop, and I'm enjoying it very much. Also got a 4 of Dark Truth.
Was going to get this Saison which I can't remember the name of. Has a bird on the bottle and is from a brewery in the Northwest. It was cheaper than Tank 7, so I was curious to see how it held up. Will get it next time.

Yes. That was it. I figured with the price that it wasn't spectacular.

It isn't like you're going to hate it. It isn't poor by any means. It's a shame that it is a pretty average beer, though; North Coast makes two great beers (Old Rasputin Imperial Stout & Old Stock Ale) but Le Merle doesn't come close to ranking amongst them.

I'm only a little way in but I think Lagunitas Little Sumpin' Wild Ale may be the worst of the bunch I picked up. It's not undrinkable like others I've had but it's just meh. Maybe that'll change by the end of the bottle.

place close to me opened up selling growlers
picked up a terrapin wake-n-bake imperial stout...kind of like a lesser Yeti, but still very good and tasty, big flavor... and to change it up, a Coney Island Mermaid Pilsner for some friends tomorrow...never tried it

Wake-n-Bake is pretty darn good. A lesser Founders Breakfast Stout. I'll be drinking the shit out of it once the bottles get into Alabama.

It actually turned out decent. Better than the first fourth. It's not something I'd seek out to have but it's something I wouldn't turn down if presented it.
