Broncos have a great plan. The reason they used a 1st rounder on Nix was to guarantee a top 3-5 pick next year to get their true QBOTF. Why risk getting a decent guy in the middle rounds?

The funny this is there's basically a 0% chance the Broncos go QB with their top 5 pick next year. The Panthers will take the #1 QB (Beck) and the Broncos will take an OT or WR to build around Nix.

Beck has a whole lot of talent for a guy that makes as many poor decisions as he does.

It's odd. We see guys like him most years and most of them just never do a thing.

I'd be surprised if Beck breaks the trend. Game just seems awfully fast for him and you don't typically expect that from a guy with those tools.
