That would explain why my Denver friend has a little more optimism this week.

Not really sold on DAK as great. He pretty much has played his career behind a great oline, with a strong run game and wr that are able to get a ton of speration. When a QB has as much time as he had, he is going to look good.

In fairness he has improved some. But I do not think he is going to carry a team. Russel Wilson looked great with similar assets. Goes to Denver and well it becomes clear he is not the fastest decision maker.

Dak isn't great. But for a fourth round pick he's spectacular.

I tried to fill in for him on the last page by touting our second-best ranked long snapper.

But I couldn't figure out how to do those spinning smiley faces.

OhNoEmpower Stadium

EverBank Stadium and Lawrence will rename the stadium for the Jaguars' home opener on Sunday -- TrEverbank Stadium -- as part of a partnership between Lawrence and Everbank (who sponsors the Jaguars stadium). Per a press release, The "TrEverBank" collaboration will highlight its new "TrEverBank Stadium" name with branding in multiple locations—from a temporary rebrand of the stadium itself to signage on EverBank's website, ATMs and financial centers.

Manchambo, what are your REAL thoughts of that ownership group, Paton, and Payton?

Remember many of us here were actually honest about the Chiefs and how bad they were back in the day so please be honest

I honestly don’t know about it yet. There were signs last year that Payton was at least getting them to be a disciplined, decently run team.

I don’t see why we needed to give up a first round pick for that. Others could presumably have done this.

But basically there’s not a reasonable potential for denver to compete until they’re not paying Wilson tens of millions to not play.
