Higgins pairs well with Burrow who is a ball placement wizard.

Mahomes super power is seeing the open spaces and where WR's will open to.

So while Higgins would be useful here, we wouldn't be getting max bang for the buck.

We need a speed/separation guy that catches the ball.

KC should get good WRs no matter the type and adjust accordingly. Having a specific prototype and failing to look outside the box is how they end up drafting slot receivers year after year.

I’d take a Michael Pittman or or Tee Higgins type in a heartbeat, lord knows none of their current WRs can line up out wide and consistently beat man coverage (including Rice).

Brick hands aside, I wonder if the routes are being run that poorly, PMII's passes aren't as accurate, or both?

So he can get a 65% snap share?

I don't ****ing care who we add right now - we're married to this stupid WRBC bullshit and it's absolutely murdering us. I've truly never seen anything like it.

I'm just irritated writ large right now, though. So whatever.

****ing punt from the 40...goddammit.

They don't need stars. They need competent players who can run routes and catch the damn ball.

Juju is the perfect example. He was never a star WR but he did his job and he did it at a solid level.

Everybody loved the committee approach last year, half of us agreed with the idea JJSS was very replaceable. Whoops. Past me is laughing at current me for believing the BS that giving Mahomes weapons shouldn't ALWAYS be the priority.

I'd add this, our OTs aren't good. They aren't. One is also being grossly overpaid.

I think he'd get more than a 65% snap share. That shit is happening right now because none of these WRs (outside of maybe Rice based off of talent) is good enough to be getting a majority of the snaps. MVS got it and didn't do shit. Moore got it and didn't do shit. Watson is the only one who has looked serviceable and that went out the window last week.

When it was Hill and Watkins....they played a majority of the snaps.

I kinda agree, but then I look ar Toney getting about half the snaps of Moore. There is no way he is not a better athlete and player than Moore, and no way he's dumber or less reliable. Nagy just doesn't seem interested in what these guys can and can't do. Everyone is doing a bit of everything and the most inept, lowest ceiling guys are getting the lion's share.

I think if we got Aiyuk, Reid and Mahomes would be able to trust him to play WR1 snap counts. With a vet who would be earning top dollar if we got him, we'd have no choice.

But the WRBC worries the **** out of me if we rely on the draft even if it's in the 1st round.
