They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

A 1st rd WR alone isn't fixing this shit. They need to go full Ravens and revamp.

Last Spring the Ravens had a decent draft pick in Rashod Bateman (our version of Rice). They added OBJ, Nelson Agholor and drafted Flowers.

That's the kind of revamp we need. We desperately need a good veteran WR and another vet that is at least decent.

Moore will be back next year because of his contract, so going into next season we'll be at:

Toney
Rice
Moore

Watson can walk. MVS can be released. James has the rest of the season to show something and get another contract. Draft a WR and sign a FA.

I agree that the entire WR room needs to be demolished and rebuilt.

You give Mahomes 3 guys that are good and he destroys people.

Andy then still need to invest a 1st in a legit alpha at wr.

They aren't going to pay big money for a 50/50 ball WR like Higgins. And I hope you're not talking about Justin Jefferson because we have zero shot at getting him.

Trading for Jefferson would be amazing.

Seems far fetched… but so did the idea of Tyreek, AJ Brown, and Adams getting traded two years ago.

The Chiefs don’t just need to upgrade the WR position… they also need to find a new alpha/go to target to replace Kelce.

Jefferson checks all of those boxes.

He won't be traded. Only star #1 WR's moved are a bit older.

A big money WR is probably a pipe dream. We will probably be in a very similar situation next year unless they draft a stud.

I was flying during the game and watched most on my iPad. I was watching the last drive on my phone. I didn’t realize then that on 4th & 25, Mahomes put the ball yet again on the hands of Watson and he dropped it? It looked to me at the time like it was maybe a bit high but reading this morning I am hearing, seeing that Watson managed to drop yet another critical pass. That would make 3 drive killers that hit him in the hands, right?

If Chris Jones walks then they have to spend on offense.

If they keep Jones then the solution would be move on from MVS, sign a playable vertical threat like Mooney and draft another high to go with Rice.

If we're looking to replace MVS as a deep threat....then just draft one. We don't need to spend big money for that. If we're spending big money, then it should be on a guy who can win in the intermediate and make tough catches.
