Reminder for the doom and gloom crowd

The 2015 Chiefs with Alex Smith started 1-5. We went on to win 11 games that year.

The 2021 Chiefs had bad WR problems like we are seeing now. Started 3-4. We ended up 12-5 and hosted the Championship game.

Long season fellas. This staff will figure it out and we'll be fine.

The Lions wom by 1 point in a game where a WR for the Chiefs was their MVP.

I feel some inkling of happiness for Detroit - but they didn't exactly set the world on fire last night.
**** Detroit. I lost all respect when Hutchinson dragged Mahomes down 2 steps after the pass was released and then rolled up on his legs like what happened in the Jax playoff game. Dirty ****er... I hope they burn.

The Bills blew out the Rams and looked unbeatable in the season opener. They fizzled out and got blown out at home in the playoffs.

I still feel the urge to say stuff like this (and every once in a while still do), but if people don't get it by now, they never will.

Plus, people are so hellbent on "being right", many are far more concerned about coming here to fake gloat than whether it even matters in the future.

There are few bars set in my head... the bar that sets when I feel like a game is out of reach, and a bar that sets whether I feel like the postseason will suck.

The former is set at :13 left in the game and getting the ball back.

The latter for playoff hopes is set at that 6 weeks in 2021 and Mahomes playing on one leg.

lmk when it gets that bad and maybe I'll start to worry.

Yeah, not sure if it was as bad as you described, but the late part was blatant. He knew that ball was gone.

You would think they'd know by now not to poke the bear.

All offseason it was like the media had just given up in their pursuit of the next hot team... and then one loss and they just can't help themselves.

I was listening to Greenberg and Rome this morning and they were slurping Mahomes harder than Brittany does. Reactions are just different everywhere lol.

Hell, he didn't even need to catch one, if he just knocked them all down we win. They scored 14 without that pick 6.

It's fine to have hope, but just overlooking getting owned by a young Lions team at home on banner night is head in the sand denial.

The Lions look like a team that has put together a complete roster full of talented young players, not three guys taking up all the salary cap. Be realistic.

The 2021 team had Tyreek Hill.

This team doesn’t have a single receiver worthy of shining Tyreek’s shoes.
