I'll laugh if KU actually beats MU in 2 weeks. And the funny thing is, with MU's defense, it's a significant possibility.

How have we failed miserably? We lost to 2 outstanding teams and are ranked 12th in the country. It's been a disappointing season, but it's still been a great season. For a KU fan to dog on MU for being ranked 12th in the country is laughable.

It must be nice not to have standards. Maybe I'll go make fun of Tom Brady for not winning the Superbowl last year. What a failure that guy is.

Meanwhile, MU is a top 12 team in the country and looks to be the class of the Big 12 North for the foreseeable future. Kansas is the same middle-of-the-road program that they have always been, and there's no reason to believe that anything better is in store.
You should probably talk to Mizzou fans about being quick to pull the trigger on calling a team a fraud. If Kansas wins the Orange Bowl and losses by a possession to a team that was apparently vastly superior to them, and they're still called frauds.... of course when Mizzou losses to OSU at home and then gets their asses handed to them by Texas, Kansas fans are going to say the same thing.

The difference is that before last season, no one thought Kansas or Mizzou would do anything. Before this season, Kansas fans knew Kansas would take a step back and (hopefully) win about 8 games, while Mizzou fans were hoping to get a piece of the NC spotlight.

I heard crap from a Mizzou grad friend for a year about how Mizzou was going undefeated this year, while hearing crap about how Kansas was going to be 'exposed' by OU... which didn't make sense since MU couldn't beat OU last year, but whatever. Of course Mizzou is going to be called a fraud from those who took the same crap and are still taking crap about Kansas.

The class of the B12 North and middle of the road? For starters, before Mangino they weren't close to the middle of the road. And if the Jayhawks are complete frauds, then Mizzou isn't far behind... they haven't been nearly as successful when compared to Kansas as some people want to believe.

You didn't even address their loss. Is a loss at home to a crappy Mississippi team somehow better than a last second loss on the road to the number 2 team in the country?
We weren't talking about losses. You stated that Florida doesn't have a single victory over a top-notch team (while they pounded #10 Georgia and #20 LSU) while in the same breath you count Missouri and Ok State as quality wins for Texas. Double standard?

You talk about Georgia struggling at Kentucky. Mizzou struggled at Baylor. Ok State's best victory is over Mizzou who doesn't have any quality victories. Georgia beat LSU who doesn't have any quality victories. A blowout victory over #10 Georgia counts more than a sound victory over #12 Mizzou or a slim win over #13 Ok State.

They failed in their GOAL miserably. Everybody who follows that team knows it.

It's a significant possibility? Really? You haven't even scrubbed the Nebraska spooge out of your asses, and you've already deluded yourselves into thinking that you have a shot at beating one of the best teams in the country. That's an accomplishment.

So, when Mizzou has NC aspirations and ends up being the South's bitch, it's not a big deal (I certainly don't think it's a big deal... still a good season). Yet, when Kansas wins the Orange Bowl and loses to the apparent superior Mizzou by 8, they're complete frauds.

Uh-huh.

Yes it's a significant possibility that KU could win that game.

One of the best teams in the country.

Biggest victories have been a 5-5 Illinois team that lost to Western Michigan last week, and then... Nebraska? KSU?

Yeah, Kansas was a fraud last year and Mizzou is one of the best teams in the country this year.

I didn't say that FL didn't have any quality wins. I said that they didn't have any great wins. Even if you consider the win against GA to be a great win, their resume is not in the same class as that of Texas. My point was that you were comparing 1 good win to 2 big wins and saying that the one big win trumped the 2.

Texas throttled MU. Florida throttled GA. That's a push. Texas also beat Oklahoma State. Florida beat LSU. That's a push. Texas also beat Oklahoma. That's better than any win FL has all season, including the win against GA. FL has nothing on their resume that matches up with that third victory, and FL's loss at home to Mississippi is a bad loss. Texas lost to TX Tech on the road. There is no shame in that.

Based on their body of work, do you still think FL belongs above TX?
