I didn't watch the game, but I watched all of Nix's snaps because there's this thing called the internet.

And this play had zero chance at being a pick 6, you dumb ****

The CB was not remotely in position for that to happen. At best it would've been a PBU. Fairly routine throw and catch. Solid play, but it's not moving the needle at all whatsoever for a top 15 pick.

Payton did what he has always done.

Panicked and overspent on an average (at best) talent at a “need position”. Similar to when he overspent on Taysum Hill. Lolol

The fun part is going to be Denver starting out something like 4-4 (against a bunch of teams without a real franchise QB) and watching the Denver fans come out with hope in their eyes.

Then the real part of the schedule happens and the team implodes over the following month. My money is on them winning 5-6 games. Just enough for Sean to get approval to pick a new GM and for them to go all in next offseason…screwing their cap for the next 5 years while trying to win with Nix.

Wait, who exactly got triggered? You're the one that came in all up in your feelings because of that Twitter thread criticizing Nix.

Donk Double talk. You kind of DID say Denver would be good. You said they won 8 games last year, so this year they should win more. Well if they win more than eight games, that would put them over 500 and that would make them technically a "good" team. They're not and they won't.

I dont blame you for not knowing what a good team looks like.

Yep. He showed up with an agenda, and then accused others of having one.

Right now, Doinks have one cornerstone player on thier team...and you need at least one very good player at all tiers to be a playoff contender.

Bolles is a UFA in 2025...and Surtain in up for a payday. There is a good chance he bolts to play elsewhere. I would...

Donks have a long road ahead to become competitive again...your roster is about as a bleak as I've ever seen in Denver. I'd say 3 years away in a best case scenario...which includes Nix evolving into a top 10 QB.

Saints had 9 all pro/probowl caliber players in Payton's SB year...which was 15 years ago....then had Kamara and Thomas later on.
They need Veach...but they can't have him!

Complete lack of self awareness. Read that tweet. Read it again. Read it a third time. See the problem? It praises Zach Wilson. Sure, post all the tweets you want blowing smoke up Nix's ass, but don't be stupid enough to post them when they're completely invalidated by praising that complete disaster.
