*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

Caving under the first sign of pressure and runnign around like a chicken with your head cut off and just throwing it up for grabs is not going to work in the NFL- Mahomes better learn to take a snap from under center and stand tall and deliver- So far he has not shown he can do that, yes... against players that wont be playing in the NFL in a couple days.. but once he goes against a #1 defense.. He's gonna drilled-
Hope everything is going well over there at 810.

What will people say when Mahomes "magically" starts making the receiving corps look competent and/or studly?

"Well, none of those receivers were good astrological matches for Alex, so the chemistry could never be established".

(Oh it's coming, just wait and see)

Not to mention, the kid could help attract high end free agents to actually want to come play in KC. If i was a WR and the chiefs called me during free agency with Smith as the qb, i would say, naa **** that. But with Mahomes, I would be at the airport in 5 minutes.

Oh yes. Suddenly our receivers will become very good.

How can anyone believe that Dorsey and Veach can load the entire team at every position, but they struggle with WR? Give me a break. The current QB is holding back all of the WR's.

EXCELLENT POINTS.

And this is why I love CP and like to talk football here. We hit this shit from every angle imaginable.

If the season goes bad and contention is lost they will have no choice but to start Money Mahomes.

I've already told you guys Smiff will get a 3 year extension . that may include restructuring his last year(2018) to stay a Chief . Smiff will go to the pro bowl this year and Mahomy will sit until 2019 ala Aaron Rodgers

Man these analysts are absurdly dumb if they think Mahomes is sitting for years

He's already on tinyhands level and he's going to ascend while Smith declines. Alex will be fortunate to finish out 2017 with the job.

He holds back the team. When the defense give him a gift turnover we settle for a field goal or drive stalls and we punt. With Mahomes we will go for blood.
