Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

"Bill O'Brien has challenged the rookie to make more difficult plays, and Watson has not responded well. "

Yup. We know who Bill O'Brien REALLY wanted.

Even Seth Keysor was high on Watson.

I never got on board because of that 49mph. I just....I can't ever buy into that.

The rollout play was the 5th most impressive throw he made last night.

That's the thing that the asshats don't get. They're trying to pick that play apart as though it vindicates their position that he was lucky and isn't ready. In fact, it was just icing on top of a hell of a Sunday he put together yesterday.

Now, I do think he'll turn the ball over 16+ times if Smith went down and he was forced into action. I also think he'd be responsible for 30+ touchdowns. In the end, I don't think there's any way he'd be less productive than Smith, though he might do it in a different way (more ups and downs).

Honestly, if this defense is as good as I think it can be, I'm willing to take the extra risks. The D can pick him up.

Underrated storyline from last night: The potential Mahomes-Robinson chemistry that is being built. D-Rob looked like a guy who is perfect for playing with Pat.

Wish I could find Mahomes' 3rd down splits somewhere. Feel like he has really excelled on 3rds this preseason.
