Okay, here is a place for the Golfers to talk about tournaments, clubs, swing help or thoughts.

Today is the Players Championship, which I think ought to be the 5th Major. Largest pot in the PGA. The daunting 17th, which seems to bring excitement every year. At least we will get to see Sergio blow up yet again.

I am ready to see some water balls!

That is most major championship golf. The difference between a chip in or making a 60 footer vs not is imperceptible and not repeatable. Luck in those small samples flips most majors. It's why Spieth can't compete anymore. He had the single best run of long putting fortune in golf history, and once that went away, his ball striking exposed him.

Bryson's irons have been shit all week but his short game bailed him out. It was an unsustainable form of golf and it has caught up to him.

Rory is the better player on the day and the week by a fair margin. Fought through that early choke too. He deserves this.
