They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Watson was 5 for 11, MVS was 0 for 3.
As good as this FO is at CB and Safety evaluation they are just as bad at WR evaluation

Good news, Bad news:

Good news - no team has really beat the Chiefs this year. It’s been self inflicted wounds time after time. Even with that, the Chiefs have had chances down the stretch to win these games (even the Denver game until Hardman muffed that punt). We’re also still in good shape to take the 1 seed. Tonight would’ve slammed the door, but we still just need to go 6-1 the rest of the way.

Bad news - same shit keeps biting us. If we drop passes and turn the ball over, no game is easy. That’s how you keep bad team and lesser opponents in the game.

I guess we’ll all just pick to be optimistic (and maybe get let down) or pessimistic (and maybe be pleasantly surprised).

Let’s ignore that there was one WR - Jayden Reed - drafted between FAU and Rice.

Dude this is the worst WR corps I have EVER seen in my time as a fan. These guys SUCK.

Tonight was a disaster. Running the wrong routes fumbling the ball, dropping pass after catchable pass.

And this is coming off a ****ing bye week. It isn't getting fixed this year. That's the reality. Not unless Richie is a competent WR

No, because this game has not changed my ****ing point one ****ing bit.

Again, yes the WRs were the #1 reason they lost.

That doesn't change the fact that they STILL should've won despite them.

That's been the argument the entire ****ing time.

All I've been saying is that they CAN win with this group, and even with them having their worst perfomance of the season, against the "best team in the NFL", that remains true.

Do you ****ing morons get it yet?

I'm optimistic. We'll be there in the end. Just need to get the right players the ball and stop featuring players that don't belong on an NFL field.

What in the entire **** does anything you jsut said have to do with my post that you quoted?

I get that you're spazzing over this loss, but try to actually read before you respond with a post that has nothing to do with what I was saying.

Again, the issue isn't that the Chiefs didn't draft a WR in the 1st. They could e just as easily drafted Rice there.

Same. Even with an epic game of WR fails, we were inches away from winning this game because of the strength of the rest of the team, which exists because we went cheap at WR as we thought Mahomes/Kelce could make up for them as they did last season. But when Mahomes/Kelce have killer red zone TOs, all bets are off.

That's what I'm seeing too. Mahomes threw a pick in the end zone and Kelce fumbles inside the 10 in the redzone. We win the game if those 2 mistakes by our best 2 players don't happen and they usually don't. Almost and shoulda won despite how awful the receivers are.
