Yikes
Do you know who the top 3 QB where in the NFL last year to have the most throws behind the LOS last year. That would be an interesting stat in the era of the Fangio Cover 6.

Can’t compare Bo Nix to Mahomes bc teams will play cover 2 every snap bc they are terrified of Mahomes throwing it over their head. Mahomes has taken advantage of teams dropping safeties deep exposing the short and intermediate levels of the field.

His terrible WR’s unfortunately played a major part of Mahomes throwing short too.

You guys really think Nix is gonna get that treatment? If I’m a DC I play single high and dare him to beat you deep.

Mahomes and all QBs have to throw short because of the Fangio cover 6, and that's a contributing factor as to why league wide scoring is down over the past couple of seasons. The point is, you have to have a QB that can throw short, dink and dunk, aka play the West Coast offense. Nix seems like a good fit for that. We'll see.

Please do. Marvin Mims and Troy Franklin would feast.

Mims was averaging over 26 yards per catch through week four of last season. You have to back up when he’s out there.

A 4th round rookie and a second year guy that had just a little over 300 years last year.

In other words, two guys who have proven absolutely nothing.

Teams also didn't play cover 2 against the chiefs much last year.

Except when Bo Nix isn’t playing on designed plays or having his first read taken away it ends up going poorly.

There’s a reason he left the SEC. Real college defenses cooked him
