Too many issues to sort out to take 2 weeks off, IMO.

Incorporating Hollywood back into the offense for one, Humphries potential return another.

I mean if anything I'd sit the starters for the STEELERS game. Give them a 2 week bye with something of a ramp up game before the playoffs and ANOTHER bye.

But if you lock anything up this week and sit guys, you'd go almost an entire month without playing football. That won't work at all.

If we find ourselves in this situation we play the Steelers like a preseason game. Uche gets a bunch of snaps and we bring Nelson up and play him and we play the 3rd string QB most of the game. We sit all the starters against the donks.

Yeah, I probably wouldn't rest them that long either but the fact that they COULD is definitely a positive.

I gotta say, all the hand wringing and nervousness in this thread just kills me. It's ****ing football. You play if you are able when the 1 Seed is on the line. FFS, we really have 3 tough games coming up. I'm officially acknowledge the Donks as a legit tough game. If you can play you play! Patrick ain't the only guy that needs rest. 2 games in 6 days...get it done and then you rest.

Seriously, some of you are the type who wouldn't leave your house if it was snowing out for any reason.

Maybe we should just sit Patrick for the whole regular season so he's good to go for the playoffs.

Sheesh.

We should get Mahomes and Kelce on the podcast responding to this week's CP meltdown of a mild ankle sprain and Kelce's love handles and now apparent lack of muscle.

Watching Bills fans melt down again is my favorite part about beating them in the playoffs.

Every year it gets progressively more entertaining as they descend further into madness.

Nah you can play Hollywood and Humphries with Wentz against Pitt and Denver. Then treat the rest like training camp and go into playoffs like it’s week 1.
