Here's something to bridge the high and low brows, and pop culture to boot!!
Copycat recipe for McDonalds Szechuan McNugget sauce. Mince 6 cloves of Garlic and sweat (heat them up in a skillet) add 4 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar add soy sauce to taste (DO NOT USE LOW SODIUM SAUCE) add 2 tablespoon Plum Sake (Drink additional 3 oz Plum Sake) boil off alcohol (Drink additional 1.5 oz Plum Sake) 3 1/2 tablespoons cock sauce (Sriracha) add 2 tablespoon brown sugar 2 tablespoon white sugar Red pepper flakes to taste Minced Ginger to taste Consume remaining Plum Sake Simmer that shit for a solid 5 minutes, stirring pretty much constantly. The brown sugar helps it keep the proper consistency, so it's important to use it. don't use all white sugar, but you can use all brown. Play around with the recipe to your taste. Might want more or less balsamic vinegar. Might want more or more Plum Sake. I'd definitely recommend you make it several times to figure out your own flavor. |

I like the La Tiara shells, but damn they are thin as hell.
I wish someone sold a thin fried flour shell. |

Warm them before serving, and they won't be so brittle. I usually throw them in the toaster oven @200 for 15 minutes.

Got a six pack of bone-in pork chops that I'm gonna bake and baste in a new BBQ sauce idea... Sweet Baby Rays sauce mixed with a very healthy dose of Sriracha
Pretty sure thats gonna work nicely... the garlic and vinegar fit like a glove in BBQ, and the red chili should give them a nice Asian twang On the side are peeled, cubed and roasted russet potatoes with minced bacon, onion, garlic and black pepper Steamed broccoli for a veggie |

Sorry the plating is trash.
Spaghetti with Italian sausage Salad with green peppers, cheese, cucumbers, and sweet stringless snap peas. Sorry Jason. Dressing was some sort of extra virgin olive oil with roasted red peppers. I don't know much about it but I like it No toast. Wife wanted crescent rolls. |
