That's the funniest thing about it. As a former player, and front office man,you KNOW it bothered him. I've done some of the dumbest shit in my life while I was drunk. But I bet I never felt as ****ing embarrassed as he did when he sobered up the next day and someone showed him a video of what he did.

Over Elway's first 10 years, there were 15 QBs that started at least 80 games. Elway ranked 14th out of 15 in passer rating, beating only Jay Schroeder.

Look at his 1991 campaign. 13TD and 12INT with post-Blount rules is terrible. Lenny had better numbers in the 1960s when headshots on quarterbacks was still legal

Fouts was great but for the AFC West I think there is an honorable mention of Montana, Plummer, Fouts, Stan Humphreys, DeBerg, A. Smith, Morton and maybe put Rivers on the HM list as well. This all off the top of the head. Didn't really try to pin it down.

This is the way I see it...whatever the Broncos will want him to lower his price tag to...will be more than he'd get anywhere else assuming Cleveland doesn't want him (LOL).

The hard truth is Denver is a poverty franchise compared to KC just as Elway is a poverty QB compared to Mahomes. Deal with it....

KC is literally set up for a decade of competing for championships. Meanwhile in pile high that roster is pure garbage with little wiggle room cap wise to improve. We also know George Paton is absolutely awful at drafting legit talent. Especially at important positions....
