I'm no technical football guy but even I know if you have a lead and the other team is rushing 3 and the LB's are dropping into coverage you run the ball until they come back down especially with our OL.

I'm already targeting Pistachio as a late round/post-draft waiver stash in fantasy. But I have a feeling he'll be on my leaguemates' radars soon if he gets any signifcant work in the coming weeks.

Wasn't very productive at Rutgers.
He was on my short list of late round RBs because of the height/weight/speed (I think he was even my top choice), but the concerns were semi-justified. He'll have every opportunity to prove a lot of people wrong. I think the performance out of the backfield has really surprised a lot of people because there's just little/no tape on him doing it. I mean hell, even if he DOES have bad vision, if he can be this productive as a receiver and solid pass blocker, if you get a strong 3rd down RB from the 7th round you're well ahead of the game. Sure looks like an excellent pick. EDIT: My top guy was Pierre Strong - but still, I wanted a RB with wheels. I barely cared about the rest of it. I am worn slick by watching Chiefs RBs run in quicksand.

Knile Davis was fast, too.
I need to see more of this kid. Looking good so far. |

Not saying he's going to be anything at all, but he's certainly going to be a different player than Knile. |

Yeah, just based on the Bears game this kid is already a lot better than Knile ever was. And I personally had some hopes for Knile at first.
Still a lot of preseason to go, and Patches might fall off, but I tell you that route he ran in the first video looked pretty damned professional to me. He looked like a receiver.

Hype must be real. I went to snag him in a mock draft and he was gone.
