That's pretty sad, but it could have been worse. OTOH, The Broncos front office doesn't have the best track record and the trading deadline is approaching, so you might have so say goodbye to Surtain and a few more draft picks before this is over.

I remember there was a rumor that Broncos front office heard that the Chiefs supposedly were interested in Paxton Lynch back in 2016 so they went and selected him so the Chiefs wouldn't get him.

Anyone hear that as well and was there any truth to that?
