However, he made many many bold predictions about the Broncos success all offseason and practically all of them have been hilariously wrong. It’s like the Inverse Cramer Index.

I listed him 4th because he’s the last guy I want at that position.

Payton is replacing Russ next season, we just don’t know how yet. If we get #1, it’s probably Caleb. If we get #2 it’s probably Maye. If we pick lower than that it might be a trade, FA, or later pick. In that case, we may as well get a good player. No defender in this draft is worth a pick that high, IMO.

I like Penix, but given his injury concerns and the situation in Denver, I just don't like the fit. I'm not even sure that Caleb or Maye would have success there.

I think he's the perfect guy for the Vikings.
