You keep alluding to last season, and previously mentioned Juju. I'm taking it you are trying to make this a Juju vs. MVS thing with me.

But if you want to go there. Yes, Juju probably is the better vet presence in the locker room than MVS considering his past football history. The amount of roles and success he has had triumphs over anything MVS has accomplished individually. He is better suited to impose accountability than MVS.
yeah, I don't think accountability is an issue in that locker room.

We don't know what the issues are. We can only speculate. That includes me, you and every one else here.

I do wonder if Coach B brought more accountability in your face than Nagy though.

and I say that's wildly premature.

We've seen poor offensive performances before, WITH Bienemeny, and WITH Hill.

There's nothing in past performance or this one game that says this is anything other than a lot of new faces in key spots just being a little out of synch.

To the people who watch All-22, how did this one compare to the usual? In terms of open receivers and missed opportunities.

Toney clearly wasn't ready to play. Moore, probably trying too hard, and Rice is a rookie but did some nice things in his package. I'm sure his package gets bigger each week.

And Ross caught his target and looked to have gotten open down field multiple times, so there's reason to be optimistic.

I think Pat had more time than he thought several times, and so we may see more down field stuff when he gets adjusted to the better OT play.

It'll be okay.
What's Elway's record with QBs? Not sure it means much. But the other question is what are his expectations for these guys. If he thought Toney would be an up-and-down but occasional elite receiver that was worth a 3 and late 6, I'd say that's a fair eval and a good pick up given what he's already done. If he thought Hardman or Moore were fundamental, high snap, high target receivers, maybe he got that wrong.

Rice is going to be the one that probably people base a lot of this off. If he looks like a solid player, and early signs seems promising, a lot of the criticism goes away imo.

It’s one ****ing game Jerry. Jesus, lighten up. We were never gonna go undefeated. Look at over the years how the Pats started. Kinda slow, and the articles would come out “Is Brady Done?” “ Is the Dynasty Over Now?”

It never was until he retired. Sometimes it just takes a little time to get your shit together. I’d rather start a little shaky, and finish string vs the opposite. Bills looked like world beaters at the beginning of last season. How’d that turn out for them?

We’ll be absolutely fine, we have Andy, Pat, and Travis. I have zero doubly we’ll be back in the AFCCG again when this all shakes out!

Good question. I'm sure there are always missed opportunities.

But, there were so many wide open deep routes, I don't know if that's normal. We spent a whole season with Mahomes throwing short because the safeties were paying deep. That's certainty wasn't the scheme this game. Why didn't Mahomes take those wide open shots after being shown them on the pads? Did Reid say stick with the plan?

Let's you choose the angle you want to view a particular play. With the amount of them to choose from you can pretty much pinpoint any particular matchup on any play.

Even with hill and kelce mahomes was flustered and often looked defeated with how badly the other WRs played. When they can’t do their simple jobs he often resorts to bad habits like trying to do too much himself. And who could blame him. That feeling of flustered exhausted mahomes is one I hate to see especially because we all know it’s preventable.

Imagine that with one one, who will very likely not be even close to kelce or hills level. Those depth guys have to be that much better.

There isn’t panic. There is an awakening that wr is no longer an aw shucks position as long as we have mahomes and Reid. It is a priority needs to happen sooner vs later. If we want to use this year to rebuild, fine. I would’ve rather we had a bandaid as we did this but whatevs… water under the bridge.

It's happening right now, for ****ssake. You just expect it to look like a well oiled machine immediately, without Kelce. That's not realistic. You've been banging this drum all off-season, and it's still ridiculous.

The investment has been made and will continue, but you are going to have to be a little bit more patient.
