Does anybody else feel....underwhelmed a touch by the teaser? Not sure what I expected, and I'm not looking for them to ruin the movie in April, just seems like it didn't knock me to the floor or anything.

I'm actually more interested in the poster than the teaser.

Quote:
I'm trying to unpack the size imbalance between Luke and Kylo's faces, but it sure means something that Kylo looks rather sympathetic here. It's even hiding the scar, and his eye and brow are matching Luke's instead of looking angry or snarling. This comes down to how you read expressions, but to me Kylo looks more worried where Luke looks sad but more determined.
Quote:
Reys Lightsaber color is changing to Red at the top. Maybe she falls to to the dark side or we finally get a proper introduction of force neutral users in the movies. They've been building those up since rebels and even mentioned them in Rogue One.
Quote:
Luke's head being the larger, it may symbolize he is going end up as the next big threat. While Ben is sinking back and lower which may show he's falling back from the dark side which are both supported by the teaser. It will end with Rey will be the final light in the galaxy.

It would be interesting if Luke came to the conclusion that the Jedi were an all powerful tyrannical force during the old republic and the fight between force users ultimately brings more collateral damage than benefits to the galaxy.

I also love the Trekkie vibes in the poster.

It certainly didn't pack the punch of the trailer for the previous one. Needs more Luke.

Well, if 30 of us threw in 10 bucks, we could do it. We could keep the poster 10 days at a time, then mail it off to the next person.

I would prefer we cut it into 30 equal pieces. I'm not big on timeshares.

Man, that music. It just moves you. Just perfect.

Ok, is that Luke's voice at the end, or Benicio Del Toro's character speaking? I can't tell.
