Is there proof that they’re still running the Evero defense? Lotta people are saying they’re running VJs defense now. I haven’t watched enough of the Broncos to see anything.

Chiefs at -10.5 is tempting. I would guess we'll be playing ball control by the end of the third quarter.

I'm not sure they're actually "running" a "defense".

**** that. These Thursday night games are always ****y. We've lost 13 AFC West games total since Reid took over in 2013. 4 of them have been Thursday games. They're always ****ing bullshit.

In the Mahomes era we’ve only played the Chargers (in terms of division teams) on Thursday. And won.

Yep. The Raiders game was the worst, the one where Kniles Davis missed a hole that you could drive a semi through.

Well, that's not true, because I distinctly remember being absolutely pissed at a TNF game we lost to the Chargers 29-28 and Mahomes was definitely the QB.

Correct. 2018. We had a two TD lead fairly late and blew it.

Tbf though, this Chiefs defense is far better than that one was. And these Broncos are worse at everything than those Chargers were.

Only reason I remember that one in particular so vividly is because I had legit projectile vomiting from food poisoning later in the night.

And the game is at Arrowhead. Home field always seems to be a major factor on Thursday night

Oh God. The one where they were 0-10 and we just played like complete ****ing reeruns? Yeah, that was an infuriating one to experience as well.

Wasn’t that also the game where we found out about Berry’s cancer like the next day?

It's already Wednesday and Queso still doesn't want to join in our pre-game festivities.
