The Bears and Broncos are probably the two most futile teams in the league at the moment, but look at their situations. The Bears are currently in line to have the top TWO picks in the next draft and $111 million in cap space next season, while the Broncos are well over the cap for next season.

The Bears could draft Williams AND the best skill player or defender in the draft, surround them with top-notch FAs, and be respectable by next season. The Broncos? Yeesh. It might get even worse over the next few years.

Bears are in a pretty good spot right now, but they definitely need to decide if Eberflus is the guy or not.

While I have not found the time to chart every pressure in-season (I am still charting every sack), I did study the all 190 pressures from the current top 10 leaderboard per TruMedia through four games with the intent of getting an overview of which rushers are earning their pressures versus which are beneficiaries of fortunate circumstances.

Nobody thinks he's as good as the guys in that group. That's not the point. It's the fact that he's even in the conversation in terms of pressures. He's a 22 year old second year player that has shown WAY more than any of the edge rushers you like you hype up on your garbage team.

Not true. Bonitto and Cooper both have more sacks than Karl. Bonitto also has 3x as many TFL’s as Karl, despite playing 40 fewer snaps.

Your guys are doing that on the worst defense in the NFL. Karlaftis is doing what he's doing on a top 5 defense.

Also, pressures >>> sacks in a small 4 game sample size.

It's not a coincidence that all the guys in that group are the best best in the NFL. Karlaftis ain't THAT good, but to even be in the conversation goes to show how good he's going to be.
