Horseass is simply place holding until he gets what he wants; you know it, I know it.
When you engineer an actual, functional "win now" that a ****ing reerun drool-bucket such as Cluck cHunt can only masturbate to, you get some leeway with ownership( where it actually counts )to make a few moves as you see fit.

For example; singing a low-cost, play off winning, coin-flip QB while drafting a 1st round QB to develop, AND not paying (#11)venty billion dollars for scared-ass pile of "dependability" who will ensure supreme chokage if all other components of the all-star squad just happen to not be present/injured.

A) Enjoy your wild card exit, right on time as usual.

B) This is the greatest football thread on CP.

Raiders look like a fine-tuned juggernaut out there....ha. NFL-hype machine not matching reality....again.

Carr cant do anything against GB's back-ups...73 total offensive 1st half yards.

Raiders have a long ways to go...if they want to compete for the AFCW division title. Sorry that NFL.com lied to you...looks like they will be battling it out with the Donkos & Chargers on who will be the top team to just miss the play-offs.

I would have been fine with them signing him, I think he'd look good in that offense. He's pretty cheap this year and next, just over 5 and 9 on the cap.

The thing is he would have been perfect for your offense. And he looks revived in Cleveland of all place. Preseason I know but, give him Sanders and Thomas and I would be scared.

Currently your QB's don't scare me. To young, or to dumb

Yep, that's Chiefs fan for you. I always wear my orange colored glasses but I'm also a realistic Broncos fan. I seriously doubt the Broncos will repeat as champs, but I do think they will be competitive. Oakland worries me because if Carr pans out, they will have the right pieces for a very good team and a playoff run.

Nah, I think Chiefs fans on a whole are alot more realistic about their team than other people.

For instance, Chiefs fans stated a MOVEMENT to get a BAD GM fired instead of waiting for it.

Here is why Chiefs fans are optimistic as of late.

Andy Reid Chiefs Record = 31 - 17

Alex Smith fully integrated into Andy's system ( P.S. we have WR's now)

Defense Rank has been top ten for 4 years straight..........

I'm not saying we are going to win the Super Bowl, but I'll be damned if we arn't up there with any other team contending

Reid's a hard one to judge... had that great run from 2000-2004.

Since 2005, wins of: 6, 10, 8, 9, 11, 10, 8, 4, 11, 9, 11

Only back to back double digits twice in the last 11 seasons. And, oddly enough, I thought Alex has had some of the most conservative passing situations ... but look at McNabb in the bulk of his tenure as Reid's guy. McNabb had far fewer completions in many years.
