Couldn't stay healthy in college, thus far has failed to stay healthy as a pro, and doesn't seem to give a shit about actually improving at football. Not so sure about that one. If the Giants are willing to dump a player they just spent a first on and take on the dead money just to get him out of the organization there's something seriously wrong.

Oh without question - it’s a draft day deal only.

If Burks and Karlaftis are there for 29/30, I’m not moving down. But if it’s one of those guys and 5 interchangeable options, maybe I make one pick and trade the other for 36 and Toney.

But I definitely don’t pull that trigger until I’m on the clock.

Though maybe I’m mis-reading you bit here.

If you’re saying ‘if I have to wait until the draft to do the deal and potentially see the draft board blow it apart OR I can just give a 4th now, I’d rather give the 4th…’ then I agree.

At a 4th, when they say yes, I agree and hang up. It’s done.

If it’s a 3rd, I’d rather stand pat and wait for the draft.

Yeah that’s what I meant. Just send them a 4th now. That way if your guys are there…you’re good and you have Toney as added value. Or you add Toney for a 4th and then you’re free to trade down from 30 for more value which is even better.
