*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

At #ChiefsCamp, Mahomes looks like real deal. Doesn't have strong arm, he has a cannon. Threw 50-yard rope to Tyreek Hill. Incredible.

So basically you hope the Chiefs lose or you are wishing an injury on Alex Smith?

Pathetic and classless.... You should be ashamed of yourself.

Every Chief fan should be hoping Alex has a great year.

Maybe we can squeeze a pick or 2 out of a QB hungry team for him. Hoping he has his best year yet.

I hope that as soon as Andy Reid and Nagy think Patrick Mahomes II is ready they put him in and replace Alex no matter how our season is going.

The sooner Patrick can take the field and grow with this team the sooner we can start building for Championships. It's not happening with Alex.

I hope we go 19-0. It's more than apparent Mahomes is going to take the starting job without help from injury or record. The avalanche has started, it just hasn't come down the mountain yet.

Also, guys... we know Mahomes knows how to ****ing sling it. I would like him to learn how to prepare as a winner. How to execute a gameplay designed to not just outshoot the opponent and hope for the best, but to play to his strengths and expose the other team's weaknesses.

There is a lot he can learn by watching Alex lead us to a 12-4 season. I want Mahomes' culture of being a highly productive QB with a losing record to get obliterated.

Be happy Smith is here. There's a ton he can teach Mahomes by example, even if he is nowhere near the class of passer. This team is spectacularly set up for success.

Then, trade Smith for a second, draft defense and watch him crush the division for 15 years.

His footwork is a mess. This is Andy Reid's number one area to improve. Footwork equals timing. Timing equals completions. #Mahomes @Chiefs

I'm pretty sure Joe Montana in fact every quarterback that's played in the NFL have thrown interceptions in practice. That's why they have practice so in hopes they wont' in a game but it still happens.

This doesn't belong in the Patrick Mahomes II thread.

A.Reid: Alex has been great w/Mahomes. They all handle it different. We aren't asking him to be mentor. We are asking Alex to win games.
