I am surprised to see Kimbo not getting much shout in this thread but Ariel is still going strong. Kimbo was an awful MMA fighter but he was a tough ass dude.

Kimbo main evented the first ever card on network television(CBS, remember Gus Johnson was on the call). He was by all accounts a kind and gentle man who will be remembered as a true pioneer in MMA. Some of the stories Schaub shares on TFATK about their time together in the TUF house are hilarious.
RIP KIMBO |

If he was tested today, I don't think the results would be back until after UFC 200. I think thats obviously why they waited till the last few weeks to sign him, they probably expect him to fail a steroid test. If thats the case, then they are probably paying him a huge bucket of money since he may not be able to fight again (he's 38) after this one last fight.
He'll probably not want to fight again anyway after he gets smashed by the heaviest hands in the world.

Brock will have to somehow get Hunt down, and that is really difficult to do. A lot of wrestlers have tried and failed, but Brock has no choice, he can't stand with him. Brock will either have to rush him against the cage and drag him down, or dive for those double leg takedowns like there's no tomorrow.

Saw this picture someone drew regarding the weird paper-rock-scissors thing the UFC has in that division, was amused, and decided to post it.

Mark Hunt Has Some Pretty Serious Steroid Accusations Aimed At Brock Lesnar Brock Lesnar has quite famously not had a mixed martial arts fight in about five years. During that time, he’s been performing in WWE, which has a Wellness Policy that includes drug testing, but the drug testing for main event performers has been scoffed at for years by critics. On Wednesday, it was reported that Lesnar has already received his first random drug test from the USADA in advance of his upcoming return fight against Mark Hunt at UFC 200. This comes on the heels of UFC waiving their mandatory four-month testing period for fighters coming out of retirement. Lesnar’s opponent was none too happy about that four-month period being waived and the former UFC heavyweight champ receiving special treatment. On Thursday, in an interview with FOX Sports Australia, Hunt levied some allegations about Lesnar. He appears to think his fight at UFC 200 won’t be on a level playing field. “I don’t think that’s fair. I think it’s load of bulls***, I think it’s rubbish,” Hunt told UFC FIGHT WEEK on Fox Sports in an exclusive interview. “I don’t think anyone should be exempt from testing. If they’re trying to clean the sport up — mixed martial arts — this is a bad way to do it. I don’t care who you are. It’s ridiculous. “I don’t think it’s a great move. I think he’s juiced to the gills — and I still think I’m going to knock him out. So I don’t think that’s correct. I don’t think he should be allowed to get a four-month exemption otherwise everyone else should. Otherwise I should start juicing. “How are you going to clean the sport up doing that s***? It won’t happen. I don’t think it’s fair.” You can read a lot more angry words from Hunt over at FOX Sports Australia, but unfortunately for now, you can only watch the video of his diatribe if you happen to live in that continent. Lesnar’s camp and the UFC are both certain to respond to these allegations. Until then, we can just wait for the news of several more “random” drug screenings on Lesnar before July 9 rolls around. |

I actually did not know the WWE does drug testing, and they suspend wrestlers who fail. Not sure if its a real (random 24/7/365) drug test, or more of an intelligence test where you know its coming and have to be stupid to fail.
