I've said the defense is the key since last year, they certainly must play as well as they did and there's not much room for error.

Preseason is preseason ... It hardly ever really matters. It wouldn't have mattered if they won 22-0 or lost 22-0. Their defense is going to be strong and their QB play is going to be rough.

That said they will be a player in the AFC West as usual, but so will the Chiefs.
