Oh, bullshit. Dan Quinn with Matt Ryan as his QB has been to as many Super Bowls as Sean Payton. His so called genius is a ****ing mirage. He's the Tony Romo of coaches.

Remember when some reports started to creep in that caused you to doubt Payton to the Broncos and you instantly turned on him and started championing David Shaw and whatever other slapdick names were getting floated around?

You said what you wanted to see and acted like it was always going to happen. When circumstances changed, you reverse position to match whatever the direction the Broncos were leaning because they're never wrong in your eyes.

So you are comparing a young, still developing QB who had not even hit his prime with a 30 something QB who has already shown signs of decline? That's bad, even for you.

Remember when you were wrong about everything last year and Big Dick Pasta came in and told you everything that would happen and it did? And the year before that and the year before that and the year before...

His last year in San Diego he was 9th in passing yards, tied for 4th in passing TD’s and 10th in QB rating among starting QB’s.

He was a top 10 QB before he went to New Orleans. The reason he was discarded was bc of that shoulder injury.
It's not like he was awful in SD, but he made 1 pro bowl there, and then was immediately receiving MVP votes his first season in NO. He had 1 season out of 4 in SD with a rating above 90, then had 14 out of 15 seasons in NO with a rating above 90.

Russ is not the type to admit his flaws and submit to someone else like Drew did. You guys are fools. You really think Paydaton will teach him something

Lol, okay. I guess if you look at it through the narrowest, biased prism possible, you may have a point.

Though, once you compare records, win%, playoff appearances, playoff wins, etc. between Quinn/Payton, your keen analysis/opinion doesn't really hold up.

No, I don't remember that. I do remember you being wrong about 99% of the time though.

So.....if a much better coach can turn a decent QB into a Pro Bowler, then a lesser coach can turn a turd into a HOFer?

Interesting logic.

No. He's not Dan Quinn. He's Mike McCarthy.

Payton, 1 SB win, 1 SB app, .630 W% w/ 15 seasons of a HoF QB, 9-8 in the Postseason, 7 Division Titles

McCarthy: 1 SB win, 1 SB app, .614 W% w/ 13 seasons of a HoF QB (and 3 yrs in Dallas, .618% if just his GB years), 11-10 in the Postseason (10-8 in GB), 7 Division Titles (6 in GB)

The difference in their Win percentage is 1 game difference in roughly 63 games.

Mike McCarthy is the ultimate Comp for Sean Payton in terms of production output.
