The Bills take the AFC this seasom

Are you ready for some football!?

I know I am!

With that, I am here to make a proclamation!

The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.

For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.

A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.

The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.

Let’s go mighty Buffalo Bills! 🦬 🦬 🦬

That's really damn bad. And the worst part about it is how brazen it was. EVERYONE knew what they were doing and EVERYONE knew what the risks were.

It was real bad.
I mean, is anyone really surprised?

They did the same thing with Josh Allen in a game earlier this year. It was Week 4, I believe. Josh was knocked out on the field, came out, went into the tent, short time later came out they gave him some smelling salts and stuck him back in the game. Was crazy to watch.

Guess Bills prioritize winning above all else. Player safety not a primary concern with them.

They have some rough contracts. They can cut Miller and give him the June 1 designation and saved a good amount of cap space this year, but it's a $10M dead hit the following season if they do that.

The Dallas Knox contract is a real stinker. He's got a $15M cap hit next year AND it's hard to cut him unless you June 1 designate him, too.

Curtis Samuel is on a decent deal and has not provided the value he's being paid to provide.

They can bonus out some of Allen's contract and create space, and probably will have to do that. Also can go to Dawkins and Milano and push those contracts down the road (but Milano is old and injury prone now, so that's risky).

They're not in as good a spot as they should be considering this was supposed to be a reload year.

I was completely gutted when Thurman Thomas stomped the Montana led Chiefs to go to their 4rth straight Super Bowl, only to surely Lose. Patience, and making peace with the fact that it is o.k. To die and never see the Super Bowl win is something I had to do. This allowed me to enjoy the AFC Championship game vs. Brady, started to get my hopes up near the end. One game at a time is all you have. Enjoy the game, and Chiefs fans, enjoy the ride.

During the game there are impartial concussion doctors. Do the teams clear a player to return the following week or is it always handled by an impartial review? If the impartial review cleared him then of course every playoff team is going to play him.

The Bills have really ****ed up WR.

Coleman looks like a low ceiling player. Might be fine but not going to be a star.

Shakir is already at the end of his rookie deal going into year 4 now. He’s a nice player, but that level of WR has been getting paid big time. Do the Bills pay him like that?

Samuel isn’t anything special. Hollins is a JAG. Cooper isn’t who he used to be.

Passing on Worthy and McConkey (among others I’m sure) was bad. They probably still kick themselves for trading for Diggs instead of taking Jefferson.

I think they have quite a few picks in the 2025 draft, but we'll see what they do with them.

He must’ve had the same “back injury” that Tua had a couple years ago.

They want Josh and the bills to win. Period. It's their latest duel. Josh took down the mighty Kansas city Chiefs and is on top of the mountain. Everyone wants the new thing, the underdog. Pat had that. Every non Chiefs fan is sick of it.

Do you think the slow learning Buffalo fan base realizes playoff games are a different animal than the regular season yet?
