Russell Wilson's pocket presence and ability to see the field was made evident today on the golf course:

Apparently he drove his golf cart straight into a bunker without seeing it and face-planted himself and the cart. And believe it or not, it was at the Arrowhead Golf Course in Colorado. Arrowhead owns that dude.

The last time the Broncos beat the Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes was in his sophomore year of college and had started a grand total of 6 college games.

Arrowhead Golf Course near Denver is actually a pretty spectacular track for those who've never seen it. I've played it a few times. Never drove my cart into a bunker, but I'm not a fat midget who can't see over the steering wheel. The course looks like something out of Jurassic Park. Worth the trip if you're a golfer and in the Denver area.

Justin Simmons was the driver. It was Russ, Justin Simmons, Josey Jewell and at least one other Bronco at the course that day.

This entire situation took some time to resolve and as a result, caused a bit of a delay for the groups behind the Broncos players. At the turn, the eyewitness asked Simmons and Wilson if everyone was alright.

“Yeah, we’re good,” Simmons replied with a laugh. “Not my best moment.”
