They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

So Veach is going to Lose two all pro players Dorsey drafted, Jones and Tyreek, because he overpaid a Right tackle 84 million on a oline that can’t rush one or two yards to seal a game up?! Veach is drafting good players but not all pros. Creed is the only one with a shot and he’s not a play maker.

It would be hilarious if Smith Marsette has like 150 and 2 TDs this weekend

Counterpoint: that would require Bryce Young to throw for 150yds and 2 TDs in his first game.

It’ll be interesting to see if ISM even sees the field much.

Did the press ask why the only WR actually catching the ball MVS, wasn’t targeted more?

Cause he's a maxed out 2 reception per game player. If he gets more than that, it's a welcome surprise but he is what he is at this point.

Toney is gonna bounce back. He was open enough to get the looks. He just had the worst game of his life last night. Shit happens, he’ll be catching TDs and we’ll forgive him for that shitty performance. Literally he probably shouldn’t have even played after missing so much time this preseason. But no Kelce put us in a bind.

I'm not surprised that people are pissed off, because he did cost the Chiefs the game. About three times. What's surprising is seeing everybody reevaluate his talent level to zero because he dropped a few balls. Catching the ball is the easiest part of his job and he's never struggled with it before. Last night was clearly a fluke. Shit happens. The more important takeaway for me is that he was consistently wide open.

Going forward, Toney will have the occasional drop, but it will be around the league average. Like his entire college/pro career before last night. Injuries are still my only major concern with Toney. He's the most talented WR on the team.

He hasn't shown he was that good ever before in his NFL career. If you take out that 190 yard Dallas game...whoa shit it's bad. His actual results are bad. When you watch him play and see his viscous quick cuts you think he might be something but at some point you are what your results say you are.

Lol, what?

Just a quick check of his gamelogs, he has 4 games where he went over 56 yards besides the DAL game, two games in which he went over 70 yards, and an overall catch rate of over 66%. And in those games, Toney averaged over 14 yards/catch.

In fact, he only has three games in his career where his catch rate was less than 60%.

Really the only thing you can surmise from his career stats is that he doesn't get enough targets.

You realize he was a 1st round draft pick don't you? There is a reason NY gave up on him so fast. Bottom line is his results have not been anywhere near expected. You can keep making all the excuses you want. He's not going to be a WR 1. He's a Hardman gadget guy replacement.

I’m not sure I’d be sucking off the NYG player management decisions quite like you seem to want to.

And to be clear, I always said Toney has the talent to be a great WR, but that his injury history would probably hurt his career performance.

But to say that he isn’t talented is just idiotic, or just trolling
