What strains of weed are you currently smoking?

Since we have a what are you drinking thread, I think we need a what strain are you smoking thread. Hope it's not a Q.

I'll start. I've got 2 kinds currently 1) Cherry Berry, which is a cross between Berry White and Cherry Kush 2) some fire ass Blue Dream. Hard to pick which I like better but leaning towards Cherry Berry. All the Berry White strains I've had are funk!!

How do you tell this stuff apart? I mean how do you smoke enough and maintain coherence and discernment to distinguish strains? The stuff out now goes so much farther. At least that is what my friends that use say.

I don't notice much difference anymore outside of Indica vs. Sativa. I do notice Indica's are conducive to making music. Sativa if I'm pulling an all nighter or hitting the town.

I usually bounce my purchases against this database: http://www.leafly.com/

Your palate identifies the base first.

Ex: Death Star is Sensei Star and Sour Diesel.
Star Dawg is Sensei Star and Chem Dawg.

I don't like chem dawg, but if I smell Star Dawg, I'm all sorts of excited... Until I taste it. Then it's feet. Never hit a Death Star I didn't love.

Don't know what I'm smoking right now, but once in awhile I get some crazy sessions.

Like my head is being compressed but about to burst at the same time, but in a good way.

Also momentary feeling of, I dunno, like I'm about to get lock jaw or something. My jaw involuntarily clenching.

The sensations last for like 5 seconds, and only happen once. It's been quite good stuff really.

Definitely orange. Jilly was just OK. The high was not intense but I got good restful sleep.

I picked up two new strains today.

Bubba Kush and some big band at 26.7%

According to several people I know, not even close.

A lot of people love the stuff but both times I tried it the come down was so horrible it wasnt worth it to me. Maybe I got a low quality batch, I dont know but I doubt I'll ever try it again. I felt like shit for 3 days from it, worse than an alcohol hangover by far. Depression too.

Jilly IS orange space queen... They shove Space Queen at tons of stuff to tone it down. Like Durban Poison into African Queen.

Cindy by itself doesn't do that so I dunno.

I'm trying something different. I'm gonna try to grow a couple hydroponic buckets on our back deck.

Also doing a dirt grow for the 1st time.

In dirt:

Dominator

Afgan (these germinated in like 4 days & were thick & tall)
Purple Passion

Water:

Dominator
Sensi Star
