Could you please add the terms of the deal to the OP?

The] Titans get a fifth-round pick that elevates to a fourth rounder if KC makes the Super Bowl and Hopkins plays 60% of the snaps," Rapoport posted on Twitter/X.

The Titans will also absorb $2.5 million of Hopkins's 2024 salary in order to lessen the salary burden for the Chiefs, according to Rapoport.

This really shouldn't be hard to understand.

DHop made Watson look like an NFL QB. Pretty much all by himself.

Exactly, And I'll go one step further than that. DHop made Will Levis look good enough last season for the TEN management to think he might be the guy going forward.

And this is going to work, and it's going to work sooner rather than later. DHop has played with something like 111 QBs since he entered the league, and only two of them were what you could call legit starters; all the rest were nobodies, and yet he's accumulated seven 1,000+ yd seasons.

And in spite of all those mediocre-to-bad QBs, he somehow leads the league in yards, receptions, and he's third in TD catches since 2013.

He's one of the very few WRs that's ever had a no-drop season.

He develops chemistry with his QBs almost instantaneously. HE's widely acknowledged to be the best defensive WR when a QB throws a badly placed ball, meaning he rarely allows INTs even when he can't catch the ball.

He's maybe the ultimate security blanket possession WR for NFL QBs that we've ever seen.

So Pat's having a bad year, eh? Well, what better way to boost his confidence and get him back on track than by getting him the most reliable WR maybe in league history that not only will catch poorly thrown/located passes, but also won't allow Pat to throw INTs.

Phins have the #1 ranked LT in the NFL atm and I’d say could be had for a good offer. Thur drafted a LT this past year and is ready to take over!

Also with as cheap as Myles Garrett contract is….Id sell the farm to team him up with Jones!

Except at LT. It's clear that neither Morris or Suamataia are NFL caliber LTs at this point in their career.

Normally, I would say that they have to get experience somehow, HOWEVER, we are trying to make history by winning a 3rd straight SB.

Maybe when you are chasing championship history isn't the best time to let your star QB get killed because you didn't address one of the most important positions on the field.

I don’t believe the answer is forcing Mahomes to start all over with another brand new person at LT. It has already happened way too often the last 4 seasons. Need stability at the LT position, not more changes.

Goddamn it Veach why didn't you just go down to the Left Tackle store and pick the nicest one you could buy? You and the front office need to be ashamed!

Larry Fitzgerald has spoken about how those guys helped him when he was just a ball boy at MIN.

And the examples literally go on back through the entire history of the league.

The Dolphins have a QB that is one hit away from retirement. Thats no time to trade the #1 LT.

But their GM has to be one of the dumbest in the league so maybe?

Myles would be a HUGE add but if its not another WR then it has to be LT or CB. Especially since Omenihu is close and FAU has played better recently.

It isnt nearly as thin as the other positions. Probably could argue it isnt even a need.

Some good stuff in here.

Something he touches on a couple times, but check out how defenses react to DHop. Who they assign to cover him. Usually in man it's their DB1. Almost every time.

Also, check out how the safeties react to him. He draws a lot of attention for a washed up WR that can't run. And because the defenses overreact to him, there's often wide open spaces for other receivers with no safety help over the top on the other side. Gee, I wonder if Andy can find a way to exploit those situations? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Finally, check out that when DHop does run a go route or some other deep/vert route, that even though the DB is often right there on his hip/half a stride back, DHop many times has leverage either inside or outside; he's open if the pass has air under it to the correct side. He will make those catches.
