Off Season Lets Talk Guns, Part 2

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

Palmetto has some nice Black Friday deals. I was hoping to make it through without buying much, but they're making it tough for me NOT to spend a shit load of money.

It's impossible to fight it. IMPOSSIBLE.

If anyone sees the Aimpoint Pros go on sale, please let me know. I have a couple and love them.

Normally they are $420, but can be had in the 325-350 range.

They have some badass black Friday ammo prices. I've been holding back everything I have to not but any.

Working on saving up to buy one of the WWII weapons on my list.

Speaking of that. Went to a gun show this weekend. There were six or so tables and they charged $10 to get in. Thankfully I was in police uniform and got in free. One table had a Japanese Nambu Type 14 for $1500. I wanted to punch that dealer so bad. They sell $800-1k all day online, same condition. Lugers in worse condition than mine for $200 more.

I'm hoping prices on guns and ammo start to significantly drop now that everyone knows Obama is gone and Clinton isn't going to be El Supremo Leader.

That's a decent price, but the PRO just has a few things that is better.

Flip caps, quick disconnect mount, longer battery life, etc.

Thanks though!!!

I have a dozen of those boxes sitting in my shop right now.

I purchased an 8.5" short barrel .300 Blackout upper and they shipped it in one of those huge boxes designed for a full rifle.

Yeah I'm sure the dirt bags over at Cheaper Than Dirt did the same thing anticipating being able to price gouge again. I wouldn't mind seeing those guys going out of business after what they pulled last go around.

Cheaper than Dirt isn't worth a shit. Palmetto has been pretty solid.

They did raise their prices on stripped lowers 10-20 depending on when you look, but they are still very reasonable. (I know they aren't the best, but damn good for the money)
