The Bills take the AFC this seasom

Are you ready for some football!?

I know I am!

With that, I am here to make a proclamation!

The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.

For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.

A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.

The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.

Let’s go mighty Buffalo Bills! 🦬 🦬 🦬

Gut instinct. They've built themselves up for this so much it wouldn't shock me if they had a letdown.

I was hoping for bitter cold but it looks like it will be decent on Sunday.

It's Buffalo -- just about that entire team is used to cold weather. And ultimately, I'd rather have slightly better weather that would allow us to throw the ball a little better.

Snow/sleet/shit would favor the straight-ahead stuff that Allen likes and Cook can take advantage of. It would help mitigate the significant advantage we have in the secondary by simply taking some of that off the board.

I was happy to see a decent weather weekend.

The Bills got luckier in that game than we have all year. On the final drive they literally did nothing to impact the Ravens or the favorable outcome they got. Absolutely nothing. Didn’t sack Lamar. Didn’t force third and longs or miracle completions. Didn’t pressure Lamar into bad throws. And didn’t guard Andrew’s or force a bad throw from Lamar on the conversion. They literally did nothing but repeatedly and relatively easily get beat but got a lucky break on a once a year drop at the worst time for the Ravens.

All of our “lucky” wins involved the Chiefs impacting the plays in some way and as such cannot simply be dismissed as luck.

This is DEF the cockiest I've ever seen the Bills fans for sure.

I mean, the feel like there's literally no way WE can win this game. That Allen will score over 30 and that we can't score like we used to to keep up.

The only player that worries me isn't Allen - it's Cook. He's shifty and we seem to ahve issues with faster shiftier backs. Henry was less worrisome to me because we have stout backers that can meet him head on.

But Cook is the one that's an issue.

I don't like how good Cook is either, it could be a huge problem.

The running narrative seems to be "The Bills are significantly better than the Chiefs" which is laughable if you ask me.

They were similarly arrogant during the Playoffs after 2020, 2021, and 2023 seasons. They are always pretty arrogant. Just like the Bengal & Raven fans.

Yeah, that's the narrative amongst their fans as well.

They don't accept that they could have lost last year without the injuries on defense.

You'd think that after 4 years of regular season success against the Chiefs, followed by postseason disappointment that includes the Chiefs' offense efficiently carving its way through the Bills' defense like a hot knife through butter, they'd have a little more trepidation and respect for the idea of KC's offense being a different beast in the postseason, but cest la vie.

They'll find out.

Out A game beats their A game...easily. We're the better team. Just have to execute when it matters most...not play perfect.
