Stadium Watch 2024 -Jackson County Residents: How Are You Voting?

Vote in this poll if you actually live in Jackson county.

We've all shared our opinions in the other thread. But who gives a shit what somebody in Platte County or Johnson County or Phoenix or NYC thinks. We're all just noise.

I agree...too many cities have growth explosions that just blow us out of the water. My brother in law just got back from Frisco, Texas and they just spent $260,000,000 on a football complex for high school teams! FAFO...

We all know the stadium would displace and alter the entire district. Not just the site it sits on. You can act like it’s a positive but plenty of people enjoy what the crossroads is without the royals trying to play savior.

You might prefer to see 7 more midrise “luxury “ apartments where businesses currently sit but obviously the voters didn’t

Supporting a business that was operating in bad faith is a positive?

Nothing really. The anti billionaire clan was going to find something to complain about no matter where the proposal wound up. Nothing was going to satisfy a large portion of the "no" base.

If you aren't anti-billionaire while not being a billionaire, that's telling.

Sure, they provided a plan, they had the pulse that it was probably going to fail. They will now use Kansas as leverage and move there, or get all of the county money if the Royals move. It's not bad faith as they would have been bound by the voters decision if they said yes, but they didn't. This in the long run will be a win for the Chiefs, and maybe Arrowhead and a roof system.

Carrington literally said that if he wouldn't have voted early, then he probably would have voted no. He trash talked the Royals his entire show and definitely wasn't a vote yes infomercial.
