You're not here to talk football, you're here to throw shit. But the reality is, we don't care. About you, your team, none of it.

When KC plays it's 'A' game, they beat anybody. If they **** around and do dumb shit, they'll lose. It's not about your team. It's about The Kansas City Chiefs. They've done dumb shit, so your team has beaten them three times now. It's irritating. But they have nobody to blame but themselves.

You have to hope that they do inexplicably dumb shit again or that Mahomes is too injured to be effective, and that's your only chance to win. Like, that's it. Those are your hopes.

Deep down, I think you know that, and that's why you guys come onto a Chiefs fan board to throw some shit.

I kinda doubt they're going to make those kind of mistakes again. And it looks like Mahomes can be effective. So I bet we'll never hear from you again after Sunday.
That's only true in fantasy land. The Chiefs don't have the ability to win a game against the Bengals just because "they brought their A game". The Bengals are a more talented team overall. The Chiefs are as good as they are for one reason. Patrick Mahomes. You have a great coach, a great TE and a great DT. Most of the rest of your guys are jags. Pacheco is good and Frank Clark was good with the Seahawks but he's average now.

The Bengals have an almost equal QB, an elite WR, a better stable of running backs and a defense with 3 levels of above average players who play a scheme that's very fluid and puts them in positions to win thanks to Anarumo.

We've proven to be able to beat you at home and away. You haven't proven to be able to beat us anywhere. That's not a coincidence, it's not a fluke and it's not luck. They didn't **** around and do dumb shit when they shut Patrick down in 3 consecutive 2nd halves, picking him off 3 times. They didn't **** around and do dumb shit when Kelce fumbled. Germaine Pratt ripped the ball out of his hands after fighting with him for a few steps. They didn't **** around and do dumb shit when Chase scorched them for 266 and 3tds. He's just better than anyone you have guarding him.

There were no flukes or luck involved with beating the Chiefs 3 straight times. The Bengals are just the better overall team and they executed better the 3 times they've played.

Tampa was totally stacked when they played you guys in the SB . Brady was back with a chip on his shoulder trying to prove it wasn't all Belicheat and the Patriot Way. Do I think the officiating was slanted? Yes. Did it make a difference? No. It wasn't much of a game. I do think Reid should have stuck with the run game more with a patchwork OL, but it's hard when you're down 21-6 at the half.

In the AFCCG, the Chiefs lost momentum chasing points before the half. The Bengals went in with a plan to switch up their coverages at halftime to confuse KC and it worked.

We have two Top 10 picks on the roster, Burrow and Chase. I'm not sure where the narrative that we picked Top 10 year after year comes from. Now, both of those guys are home runs, no doubt. You have a few 2nd round guys from the Marvin years(Mixon, Boyd, Bates). The defense is entirely 2-3 round picks and B-C tier free agents. As with any top team, hard decisions will have to be made. There has been contract talk by both Burrow and Chase about how they're going to keep the team together going forward, which would indicate that they won't go for every cent they can, but you don't know that until the ink dries. The cap is going to skyrocket over the next couple of years with the new broadcasting deals and the Bengals are going to be smart and get those deals done early. With the way contracts for QB's are going, Mahomes deal is an absolute bargain compared to when it was inked.
Fair enough. Your first paragraph makes more sense now. Regarding that SB, Brady was trash the whole playoffs up until the SB. His defense was elite and bailed him out. Those slanted calls in the SB did KC no favors. Plus that elite D-Line abused KC's patchwork Oline and Mahomes ran for his life all game.....with turf toe. The receivers did him no favors, but the reality is that the deck was stacked against KC in that SB.

Won't disagree with the AFCCG last year and pretty much no Chiefs fan on here will either. This has been discussed since the final whistle last year.

I stand corrected on your top 10 picks. For whatever reason it feels like they should have more based on how bad they were for so long. If Burrow and Chase take less to keep the band together then your team will be tough. I will acknowledge they have done well in FA which is a large reason for their success. While the cap will skyrocket, so will salaries and only time will tell how much of a bargain your stars take.

Ultimately my goal was to show through KC's success and failure in the playoffs was that it only takes one play to completely change everything. A time will come for the Bengals when that one play costs them as well.

What NE did was such an anomaly primarily because it seemed like the ball always bounced Brady's way. KC is hosting their 5th straight AFCCG and I will take that any day because as long as they do that, they have a chance to win it all.

No one is ever gonna take you seriously saying dumb shit like that.
That's not what I said. If you want to count Burrow's rookie year, cool. Then count Mahomes rookie year. And yes, Mahomes did play his rookie year. He played 2 games. Who's fault is it he wasn't good enough to start as a rookie?

Not to mention that Burrow was a #1 overall pick and Mahomes landed on a team already in the playoffs.

I agree with you that Burrow has a much better roster supporting him, especially the defense. Sounds like you agree with me that the media doesn't give your defense enough credit for Cincy's success. Too much credit being placed on your QB. He's a great player, but he is getting plenty of help from the defense.

I don't agree that Cincy "shut down Mahomes" in the 2nd half of the most recent game. He put 2 strong TD drives on you in the 3rd quarter. He was driving for more points in the 4th quarter when Kelce fumbled and Butker missed a Field Goal. Not like you forced 3 and out punts in the 2nd half of that game. I have a ton of respect for the Bengals defense, but you weren't far off from giving up 20+ points on 4 drives in that half of football. As it stands, 14 points in 4 drives with a missed field goal is not "shutting down" anyone.

Winning and losing the SB is a razor's edge. I still have memories from when I was a kid when Lewis Billups dropped an easy pick from Joe Montana seconds before he sunk the dagger in.

The next decade will be fun in the AFC, that's for sure. The Chiefs are a great team, but Andy Reid will retire at some point. I'm sympathetic to the Bills, but I think losing Daboll was a killer. Allen has all the physical tools you could ask for, but something is just missing with him.

Not as much as Cincy blowing their last opportunity to capitalize on the last year of Burrow's rookie contract.

Your franchise has zero Super Bowl trophies.

Burrow has zero Super Bowl trophies.

If not this year, then it becomes more difficult once Burrow's fat new contract hits your salary cap.

Chase will want a big new deal soon... probably exceeding Tyreek's $30 million/year contract.

It's now or never for the Bungholes.

Mahomes and the Chiefs have their Super Bowl trophy.

Cincy is still chasing that and your window of opportunity is closing.

No pressure.

No, you don't get to just discount Burrow's first year. He was a loser his rookie year, then he got injured. Injured or not, the Bengals sucked and he sucked.

4 AFCCG, 2 SB appearances.

Dumbass Bengals fan, "herp derp, ya'll shoulda done MORE".

How does 2018 and 2019 equal one year, since Burrow didn't arrive until 2020, ya ****ing math whiz!?
