Just try to get past Montana & Bradshaw in the ring count. A victory Sunday would be a major step in the right direction.

To be considered the GOAT of your sport, you first have to be the best player at your position during your career. In Brady’s case, that means he had to be a better quarterback than guys like Manning, Rodgers, Brees and Stafford.
Was he? Not really. In terms of pure football talent, all four of the names I just listed were arguably better at their peak when it came to actually playing the position. So if you weren’t the best at your position while you played... and if four other guys were more talented... how can you be the GOAT? Jordan achieved the GOAT label because he was undeniably the best and most talented player of his era and had the accomplishments to back it up. Brady on the other hand falls short, with his case based solely on career accomplishments. That’s just not enough.

Mahomes doesn't need 8 to pass Brady. 5 would do it. 3peat would do it this year.

A QB's talent and competency are certainly more important to the discussion than team accomplishments. |

Plus you really want to get technical, Pat didn't lose 2 of those games, the Brady games, Dee Ford & no starting tackles when we handled the Bucs earlier that year. Hell, if Pat didn't have that 2 half meltdown against the Bengals, we could have easily 3 more SB wins here. But " if ", looks like Brady has more " if's ". But football is a team sport, the whole team has to show up, not just a few players. But dam, when it all comes together, it's a thing of beauty!

We all have ****ing eyes at the end of the day, Patrick is by far the greatest most consistent playoff performer there's even been.
Even a Brady lover will have to admit after Sunday that peak Mahomes has been unlike anything ever before. And this may not even be his peak yet! |

Yet people want to say the greatest was MJ, or Kobe, or Lebron. The number of championship's you play for a team does not make you the "GOAT "! Brady was usually good in the clutch , but he had to have team players to help him there, just like Pat does! But you want to compare their individual stats to compare who was/is better!
