Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Point being. We were on the butt end of bad calls for DECADES. And we had to endure it.

So sorry. Even if we do benefit from a call here and there, we’ve paid our dues and I will NEVER apologize for it.
The entire first half of SB 55 was terrible phantom calls helping the Bucs win even more than they were.

I guess people hate Mahomes more than the cheater. I don’t get it

As I said in the rep thread, the bitching about the refs is running very strong in Houston. Oddly enough, nobody brings up the terrible calls that went in their favor when balls were bobbled going out of bounds and still called catches.

I just heard Ryans said in his press conference that “we knew we were going to have to play against everybody, and I mean everybody”, when asked about the bad calls.

I was impressed when the refs told to Fairbairn to miss a long field goal, miss an extra point, and have a field goal blocked.......and he did it.
