Then again, it could also be the influence of Cullen who has been a godsend, on top of Spags finally having all the pieces he needs and Chris just peaking. The main point is it’s highly unlikely he’ll live up to the massive deal he will get (and deserves). That seems to be the way the Chiefs are approaching it, whether that’s fair or not. I love the guy and if they pay him 30 million a year I won’t complain and quite frankly would be thrilled. I just see the writing on the wall and understand their logic. |

This should go down as an example to never make defensive veterans play in the pre-season or do dumb bullshit in training camp. They don't need the work. Save it.

You have to look at each player individually. CJ's play so far is the exception not the norm.

He could have his 15 by week 16 if he keeps this up. Still no multi sack games but it’s not really needed.

Look at how much attention he gets from a blocker standpoint. He gets double teamed constantly and lets everyone else get singled up. They need a DE that can win vs single blocks though.

Jones has been nearly unblockable so far. Just destroying double-teams. He's easily one of the top-5 pass rushers in the game. Honestly hard to blame him for wanting to get paid. Just a total beast.
