Rings-do you wear them?

I am not much of a jewelry dude. No bracelets, necklaces, occasionally a decent watch. Not even a wedding band.

I wear a decent Fitbit metal banded (daily) watch for a watch (time) and to monitor steps and such. My son doesn't wear one because he has his phone to look at the time. Not me, I need to glance at my "watch" to see the time, not dig my phone out of my pocket.

It is hard to accessorize for a guy, IMO, other than a watch and or a ring.

I have some decent watches that I wear for special occasions, not daily. My job doesn't need that. I am sure that there is some though.

Back to rings. My go to is wedding band, college ring. Not daily though.

I just bought a VERY simple black onyx ring:

It has some meaning.

Most guys I know, don't wear rings. I haven't.

Just thoughts....

Got a tungsten wedding ring. It's sturdy metal, you can open beer bottles with it. That's just one of my party tricks.

I feel nekkid w/o it honestly. I take it off if I'm actually doing something where my finger could get ripped off or making meatloaf

For me just a simple gold wedding band, and when I retired I bought myself a Garmin S62 Golf watch. I wear both all the time. Can't stand necklaces and chains around my neck.

Funny thing before cell phones became all the rage, anybody who had to be anywhere on time wore a watch. I am left handed and always more my watch on my left wrist. Once the cell phone became the thing I ditched the watch. Didn't wear one for over 20 years. Got the Golf watch and in the instructions it says to put it on the lead wrist (right wrist for me). Even after 20 years of no watch I would tend to look at my left wrist to check the time. Took a month or so to stop that habit.

You get the same shit we get.

I wear a Garmin watch every day since I monitor my step counts.

I wear my wedding ring about 30% of the time now. I often don't put it on if I'm just in the house doing nothing. I've also lost a lot of weight this year, so it's fitting dangerously loose now.

Here's a question. What the heck am I supposed to do with my high school class ring? I've been moving it around for 40 years, and stopped wearing it about a year after high school. It's actually very pretty and it's white gold or platinum or something. It seems like it has too much value to throw away, and nobody's going to buy it, so what do I do?

Wedding band and engagement ring. I'd have them fused together, but there are times when I can where my wedding band and not my engagement ring. Never been into bracelets or earrings. I have a few necklaces that I might where depending on the occasion.

My ex wife stole mine. To this day, I don't know why. It's not like we were dating in HS, so it had no sentimental value to her. Rotten ****

Put it in a shadow box with your yearbook and donate it to the Smithsonian.

I haven't worn a wedding band in I can't remember how long. I was always losing it from having to take it off when working on car, at gym, etc so I just stopped wearing it. Now I have no clue where it is.

I used to wear a watch religously but it started causing weird nerve issues in my hand so I rarely wear one anymore. Even after years of not wearing it very often I still constantly look at my wrist to see what time it is. Then cuss as I have to pull phone out of pocket.
