Little background I grew up 10mins from philly and I am an eagles/chiefs fan.
Eagles fans aren't afraid to show their emotion. Whether it be animosity towards another team or disgust at the play of their own team. Absolutely there are fans that have taking it too far. Do not think for one second philly is the only or even worse place for bad fans. Giants fans are just as bad with the negative attitude towards opposing fans/teams. I've been punched in the facI've y a drunk giants fan just for cheering on the chiefs. Now for all the bad wrap philly fans get people fail to realize how all of this emotion comes from a devotion and love for the franchise. They do not sugar coat their love for the team by being "good fans". They love this team and feel they deserve the best, they deserve hard work, that they deserve a winner. Meanwhile, we sit here and argue about wearing black to a game because "true fans" wouldn't do that. Chiefs fans all over are saying you should cheer for your team win or lose, don't be negative! Eagles fans aren't afraid of showing their feelings. It is not looked down upon to voice your opinion on the state of the team or certain players. Eagles fans pride themselves in being an eagles fan and they don't care what other people think and they defend their team and their home. Chiefs fans are embarrassed by their franchise, by their management and by their players. Yet they sit here and only a few take to voicing their opinion and starting a movement. I'm happy it caught on but it really is pathetic at some of these "true fans" that aren't outraged at the team. The eagles fans get a bad wrap for some negative acts, but don't for a second think they are bad fans. I liking them to soccer fans in Europe. Insanely devoted to their team, extremely passionate, and with a few bad apples. Eagles fans certainly are not "disgusting" or "classless" I lived there for my whole life and attended more games in philly than most on this board. I've seen the good, the bad and the ugly. I've also seen the ugly in every other stadium ivebeen to .

The Lombardi's still don't hide the fact that NYG has looked really bad the last three weeks.

... and in Chicago last night they booed a TE off the field, as he got hurt trying (and failing) to make a cruicial catch to extend a drive. As he finally got on his feet after an injury delay, the crowd booed while he walked off. Yet still Chiefs fans are the a-holes. So apparently, it is in fact most appropriate to BOO when an injured player can finally walk off the field, rather than cheer as a show of support.

Credit to Philly.
When they get punched, it's a dick punch. Every single time. Those guys never really just take a 'gosh darnit, we'll get 'em next year' sort of stumble. It's always some catastrophic meltdown.
